I had a great experience with this office. I had a 21 week appointment, I came with my husband and 14 years old son, checked in and been seeing in 5 minutes. The lady that performed ultrasound was really nice and kind, explained everything during the process. Then the doctor came in, confirmed all information ,answered all our questions, added some funny story. I felt really good and grateful. Coming back in 12 weeks.
I went in with my wife to get to see my son. I was turned away because they have decided the prenatal area is not a fit place to have my ten month old. There are no mandates for this, this is simply for their convenience. I missed out on meeting my son today because they could not be bothered to have an infant in a stroller in with them. Other Sutter facilities have had no issue with this, it is solely their policy. I am disappointed to miss my son and disgusted at their lack of decency.
The front desk staff and sonographers are good people. The doctor we met was full of negativity. Scares my wife for having type 2 diabetes and explained the impacts on baby. Everything is in God's hands. A doctor should be positive and explain things in a way so the patient gets excited. What a shame on these Google search doctors.
This place doesn’t deserve any stars. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. They mention over the phone that kids are not allowed in the office, but where I sit to wait is definitely a waiting room. I wanted my niece that knows ZERO English to accompany my children because I had no choice, but to take them with me. They told me my kids ages 3 and 2 needed to wait downstairs with her. My niece doesn’t have a cellphone which is why I couldn’t leave her at home with them either. They did not want to understand my situation and there is no sign in the “office” that kids can’t wait there. I needed to wait much longer than necessary due to the fact that they sent me to get my niece and children situated downstairs. I wish to never return to this office, but if I have to, I hope it’s with a considerate staff.
Maybe somehow, we don’t pay enough for insurance for these people to actually care. But, when we were told “maybe if you weren’t my last patients of the day,” we could benefit from better imagining. I pay a lot of money every month to have Sutter and this is a perfect example of why you should just pass. They’re no better than Kaiser. They’ll give just as less care for just as little money.
Very disappointed in the management team regarding them denying a request to have my eldest teen join me for an ultrasound when the impetus for not allowing under age 18 was due to Covid and some patients they see are u see 18. Especially during this time when Covid precautions like mask mandates in medical establishments are rolling back.
I've had a very difficult time with scheduling and referrals through this office. My obstetrician first sent a referral for a 30 week ultrasound after my office visit on Feb 22. I called perinatal associates several times asking about the status of the referral. They kept saying it needed to be reviewed or their system was down and call back. Finally I found out they hadn't received it on Feb 28. So my OB faxed another on March 3. I waited another two weeks calling perinatal associates several times and again they would say that it needed to be reviewed or the system was down. Finally they said that the referral was not clear enough and my OB needed to send yet another. This was faxed on April 1. I called perinatal associates today April 8 about scheduling and they said that they needed another 5-7 business days to process the referral. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and clearly not going to have a 30 week ultrasound. They were unapologetic and unwilling to expedite the process.
My OBGYN referred me to Perinatal Associates Sacramento last Thursday. I called them today to schedule my appointment. Kelsey said they were booked out until the end of September but they'd be able to squeeze me in today as my due date is around that time. I saw Dr. Gilbert for my 3rd-trimester ultrasound. Not only was he professional, fast, and explained what he was doing...he also was funny. It's great to have doctors that are not robots and that try to be done in 2 seconds. The whole experience was great!
Borderline negligent. My wife is a cervical cancer survivor, and has had 4 cervical surgeries. On our first appointment 12 weeks this group refused to examine her and said to come back at week 16. Furthermore, our takeaway from the appointment was that this Dr. could "benefit" us by helping us after we only lost one pregnancy, instead of the typical two required. We could not have been more dissatisfied.
I’m an established patient here. My doctor sent an urgent fax for me to get a genetic counseling/amniocentesis appointment ASAP as my baby could have kleinfelters syndrome. Receptionist was rude and said it would take 3-5 days JUST TO SCHEDULE an appointment! This is not how you treat women who are in limbo regarding if they have to abort or not. Absolutely ridiculous!
