Super busy during the Sunday lunch hour was given these and were offered a replacement for the Strawberry cream cheese crispers. Got extra gravy when asked for it as well on the big country skillet. All in all a good experience. Great staff.
I went to Perkins in Fridley for brunch today. Our server, Corrie, was really great. She was fast and very friendly. She got our orders exactly right and we didn't even have to remind her to get the glass of milk that was ordered to go with the meal instead of coming out before the meal. We've often had to remind other servers for that. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and fairly priced too. The restaurant was also clean. Highly recommend this Perkins and sitting in Corrie's section if you can!!
I would give it a zero if that was an option. I ordered dinners to go. I didn't mind the 45 minute wait but when I got the food it was cold. I didn't even think about opening my meals to make sure everything was correct. When I got home, realized the side salad was missing! The pork chops looked like they were on a hunger strike! My chicken tenders were so dry and batter was so salty. Overcooked and overseasoned. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was starchy. The potatoes were stodgy. The only decent thing were the steamed broccoli. Never going back!
Absolutely terrible service!!! After ordering our food it took freaking 2 hrs before we got our food. Perkins will usually have a pie special and it took forever to flag our waitress down to be able to even order the pies. And when she finally came around to our table she smelled strong of cigarette smoke and said "sorry I totally forgot about you guys and that you wanted pies". Seriously?! I would understand if they were super busy but they had a total of 4 tables and that is including our table. Drinks sat empty for a long time had to eventually flag her down again just to get refills. And the sad part is she walked right by our table 4 different times. Just can't believe how terrible the service is at night 9-11pm. Also, 3 out of 4 meals came out on plates and of course mine came out in a togo container. And we never asked for it to be togo in the 1st place. Will never come back here again. And I wish management would try to do something about that. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Had a great night at Perkins on Sunday. I was greeted by a happy, outgoing manager who showed me to my seat with my family of 6 for my moms birthday. Then, our waitress Brittany came and grabbed our drinks and appetizers. Our food came out fast and in a timely manner. It was hot and everything we asked for, even with our complicated order, was exactly how we wanted it. It was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back! Along with recommending to friends and family in the area!
I was quickly greeted at the door by the manager Heather! She set us a table and quickly brought us our beverages. She was extremely positive, wich made our dinning experience so lovely. Our server Brittany was quick on her feet. She delivered our food hot and was back multiple times to refill our drinks and offer dessert! I will most definitely be back, these girls are rocking it!!!!!
Horrible for some reason , they burnt our food horribly, and ignored me 3 times when i said something. food was cold even though burnt really bad. the person with the short red hair was not professional and ignored us when i asked for a refill. i never got it so we just left. we wont go back again.
I came to this Perkins tonight after another Perkins was just closed for no reason. I sat down at 9:30 and my order was taken promptly by my server. She came to apologize multiple times for the delay. At 10:25 I finally got my food. The hash-browns and the ham on top of my omelet was burnt, the omelet looks terrible. My waitress offered to discount it but it looked worse than the 20% off it would have cost me. She told me there was a new cook and had an entire line of orders. After spending 12 hours in the ER/hospital today, I’m leaving Perkins an hour later than I arrived and still hungry. The ONLY reason I’m giving anything higher than a one star was because my waitress, Michelle was absolutely amazing. You are lucky to have her, as she was one of the most sweetest, sincere waitresses I have had in a LONG time. Everything else was absolutely horrendous.
Not enough staff to serve the 8 people in the restaurant. A quick stop for lunch took forever. Food arrived cold, had to wait forever to ask for things so just did without . Took forever to get check. This is not the servers fault, its poor management. I have eaten at this location many times but I will not be back. 8 customers and it was so bad i cant imagine what happens when the place is packed!
All 4 stars go to Michelle tonight. We stopped in for as bite for dinner and she was absolutely great. Nice and helpful despite of the hiccups of my mozzarella sticks not having cheese in them because they cooked til all the cheese seeped out of them But Michelle was apologetic and has the best customer service skills in there. Great job young lady.
