Serving Evansville’s Westside for over 70 years, Perry Heights Middle School continues to provide exemplary educational opportunities for all children. Perry Heights prides itself on academic achievement while providing programs that further each student’s appreciation for the fine arts and a physically active lifestyle.
Perry Heights believes in a well-rounded education and offers classes for students with varying interests. Advanced classes with high school credit are offered in English, mathematics, and Spanish. All PHMS seventh graders are enrolled in an introductory computer course. Additionally students can choose to participate in Project Lead the Way, a program designed to spark an early interest in Engineering and Technology.
Other offerings include an on-site, wooded nature center and classes devoted specifically to the art of drama performance. In addition, as part of the EVSC’s Healthy School Initiative, Perry Heights offers free health screenings, a before-school walking club, and several physical activities after school that are both competitive and non-competitive in nature.
As part of the Reitz High School district, Perry Heights will promote its eighth grade students to Reitz High School.
Be Ready, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and we know you are going to have a good day.
