I've had a passion for sports and fitness my entire life. With my love of fitness I began to understand that nutrition plays such a huge role into what you ultimately can become. Whether you want to build muscle, loose body fat, train for a specific sport, there is a scientific way to go about it to get the best results possible and eventually reach your final end goal. I didn't always want to be a personal fitness trainer but tragic events made my decision easy for me. In the spring of 2000 I unexpectedly lost my father to heart attack. He was my best friend, role model and the person I aspired to be. With his sudden passing it put a lot of things into perspective. It made me want to reach out to the community to help educate people on the risks of being overweight. I wanted to make a difference so that other kids wouldn't unexpectedly lose their father or mother at a young age. So that's why I came to be a personal fitness trainer. I've been a trainer now for 10 years and although I feel I've helped some people drastically change their lives I still feel like I haven't done enough and that's why I've decided to launch my new business Proteus In Home Personal Training. This business will give me the platform that I've always wanted to reach out and touch the lives of many more people.
