Love this store! Every single time without fail, you are immediately greeted with a happy employee asking if you need help with anything. I normally don't, but it's nice if I do and it makes you feel welcome immediately. Love being able to get a little bakery treat for my dogs near the cash registers as I head to check out. Plus, the rewards program is good. Glad to have a pet supply store so close.
We always shop this store & specifically this location due to all of our great experiences. I am always greeted & asked if I need help. Today Bryan F helped me with locating the food I normally purchase. I did not have to lift a finger. He carried it all the way to check out & then to my car after. He was also very knowledgeable & helpful with recommendations for my aussies hips & joints as well as how to use the points system. Associates like him are why I will always continue to shop this store.
So my dog has been nervous about getting his nails cut and he's about 120 lb German Shepherd. We've had a few bad experiences getting them cut so on a whim I went up here and talk to Brandy she did a excellent job, had his nails trimmed with in 5 minutes. I am so happy that I found somebody that can trim my dog's nails, it was very hard .for him to get up and down and up the stairs. I will definitely be bringing him back here all the time for his nail trims..
The groomer was rude and nasty when I questioned the "at discretion fee" charged for grooming our dog. She went into next room and called me an %&^&*. I'm use to open viewing rooms so people can always view how they are handling our pets. This groomer is a very angry person, maybe she should find a new profession.
Lucas the manager was very dismissive during my time trying to return a few items that did not meet my pets expectations. My cat had surgery on his jaw and was very uncomfortable so within a week I spent over $3500 on the surgery and another $400 on products that would make him comfortable. The items I purchased here did not help his behavior I gave them a week and saw no difference he refused to pee in his litter box still so I spent another $200 at pet supermarket and chewy and I saw a difference with those products! Lucas stated that the products were open and could not be return, after asking 3 different times during my original check out the associate said they would take if they didn’t work out after trying them out. So forget their 30 day return policy. The manager is making the decision if you’re able to return the items even within those 30 days. Also Lucas stated I would need to get in contact with the each individual company of the items purchased, that’s not how supply chain works. Pet supplies plus bought the rights to those items meaning they are fully responsible for taking care of their customers if they don’t end up working out. I highly recommend having the managers take a e-learning on supply chain and revising the return policy.
We buy our Pet food here. I actually like it better than Petco. Bigger store, nice employees, clean, more stuff to buy for one's Fur Baby
The most friendly staff. Coolest live animals. Best prices around the beaches. Clean store and well organized. Dog wash is amazing, groomers are amazing. Best pet store around ! They have the best dog food too, better brands then the other pet stores
I bought this dog toy for my rescue dog, Winnie.
Pet Supplies Plus Atlantic Beach makes me forgo my Amazon order. The prices and loyalty rewards are good, the store is well-stocked and clean, and the employees are awesome. An employee is always there to help me with my pet questions and issues. Super customer service!
Came here for the self wash. Different than the Lakewood store which we usually use, but fine other than we came from your dog park and the water was too warm with no way to adjust the temp since is comes out of a spicket rather then having an adjustable knob like a shower
