Providing a therapeutic human-animal bond (Pet Therapy); Certified dogs & their handlers/owners volunteer their time to enhance stress relief & unconditional love
The Pet Therapy Organization at Bloomsburg University was founded in September of 2014 and we are located in the Students with Disabilities Office in the Student Service Center 043. Our program makes every effort to promote healthy alternatives for stress relief, raise public awareness about the therapeutic benefits of animal assisted activities and to provide unconditional love.

Here at BU, we are a team of volunteers (led by Maureen Hill) involving the incorporation of trained animals specially designed to administer therapy to adults/children and to share the joy and furry love of our pets with the people we visit. Finally, we strive to provide registration opportunities for interested potential volunteers.
