After several times using the dog wash at port union and Lawrence pet valu I have come to my end . Enough is enough . Each time the facility gets worse and the price has only gone up . Today the sink didn’t drain so it’s impossible to wash the soap off the dog . The nozzle for the water only works on high speed which is not nice for the dog . And the dryer nozzle comes off and therefore drying is not really an option . I approached the manager who said I should have went and got her mid way through the dog wash. I am not sure how that would work - I am not going to leave a stressed out dog alone in the bath . Then I explained the issues to her and she has no response or reaction . She simply said tell the owner . It’s really frustrating that I can no longer use the dog wash at the local pet value and will need to travel to another one where there is time and care put into the facility that you pay for . This wash should be shut down and not simply operate at sub par conditions. Ashley Pabon
Took my two dogs there for bathing. Make an appointment in advance to keep ur spot. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
Staff are super friendly, informative, and helpful. Also pet valu has competitive pricing, their self serve dog wash system is a pearl. You get to use their facilities, w complimentary shampoo/conditioner and they give tou towels + blow dry at the end.
Wonderful Staff and a very practical space to keep the dogs clean. Highly recommended
This pet store has the best service, no matter what time I go in. I am also on a buy 10 bags and get one free of Acana fog food. They track it for me with my phone number. They have a dog wash area as well and we drive past a couple other pet values to go to this one.
Did not offer free conditioner spray after dog wash this time during check out. Other staff members have been providing on this location and all other locations. Staff states we never do. The whole idea is to provide these services especially now that the price has gone up in price to $12 from $10.
Bought a dog harness at the 4525 Kingston Road location and the owner would not accept the return. After contacting head office the wonderful lady who helped me directed me to this location where the assistant manager said the harness snaps did have opening issues. They issued me a full refund and I will now go to this location as will several pet owners that I have told. The staff are super.
This is a hidden gem! I had no clue that you can actually bring your dog in and wash them at their self serve washing station. They supply absolutely everything you might need, from the shampoo to the aprons for the owners. I must mention that a particular staff member RHEA went above and beyond for us. She made the experience that much better..Overall it was a fantastic adventure and I highly recommend this establishment.
I've been to this place so many times and have always gotten great service. Today was no exception. We adopted the cats that we met in this store. The employees made detailed notes of what did they ate while they were there and shared all their notes with me as well as the photos of them and their adventures at the store. They took so much care for these animals that were in their temporary care. It was so beautiful to know and see.
Always good service & love the self serve dog wash! Inflation is everywhere and prices will increase. Or you could save $ and wash and dry your dog at home :
