Petco - Ft Worth/Hulen

I booked grooming for my border collie mix and was very satisfied with the service done by Micky! He had furry grinch paws, tangled fur and was quite dirty. After his appointment, he smelled so good, felt soft, and looked handsome and healthy. I will be bringing him back to this location for his future grooming appointments : Only negative was when I came to pick him up, I was told to wait in the Petco area and they would bring him to me. I waited for about 10-15 minutes before I was told by another employee that I needed to pay at the register before retrieving my dog. I have no issue with this order, however, it would've been nice to be given correct instructions as it was my first time at this location.

DO NOT BUY FISH FROM HERE. This store should not be allowed to sell them! Dead fish, algae… all fish are suffocating from lack of air-awful. See pics-these are just the fresh water. You can see there are NO air bubbles. The salt water tanks were just “blowing”salt into the tanks.

The aquatics section was full of dead fish and goes to show that the store associates are not following up water maintenance and what they call it as Deadpool which they remove all the dead fish daily from the tanks. My 6 year old son saw all the dead fish and asked me why are the fish dead and it was difficult trying to explain to a 6 year old that store employees were careless and did not bother to keep the fish in optimal conditions.

My husband ordered the wrong Diet Science in 30 pound 1-6 years online from Petco. He ordered the light instead of the regular. The employee was great & made it an even exchange when I went to pick it up. Glad they had the regular 30 pound 1-6 years in stock.

I stop at this location frequently because I have the Vital Care membership but this location kind of makes me regret purchasing it. Is this location about to close? It is always empty and feels dirty and unkept. I have had to go to other locations multiple times because my puppy's food is not kept in stock. Other than one employee and I wish I knew his name so I could mention him for doing a good job the employees rarely greet you, are often standing around chatting or looking bored or on their phones and overall act like you are disturbing them for coming in.

I purchased my pet birds here. The store allowed me to replace those who were not being friendly to each other, which was great, as it helped me create a very well-bonded little group. They are all healthy and happy after 2 1/2 years. We also appreciate the bonus points. Thank you!

Serena did an amazing job grooming my poodle! I came in and watched her as she finished up the cut, I was worried about leaving my puppy since she has really bad separation anxiety. Serena was so kind and gentle to my little girl, even through the squirming and barking. The cut looks good too, it’s exactly what I asked for! Thank you for the wonderful experience. I would also like to say the fishtanks in the aquatics section have been cleaned up significantly and look a lot better than the photos posted in a previous review. They’re not perfect but they’re in decent shape for a chain pet store.

Super friendly. Chelsea answered every last question I had about the animal I purchased. There fish were healthy and all alive. The place was clean and well kept. We purchased the Pac-Man frog and Chelsea made sure we were taken care of. I will definitely recommend this store.

Took my old girl there and they got her done quick like I asked so she wouldn’t get too stressed. Service was excellent!
