Petco - Highland Park

I am from Florida, and moved to this city. I never had a complain at the Petco in Durbin Pavilion Florida and much other places that I have take my dog. THEY TOLD MY HUSBAND MY DOG WAS AGGRESSIVE AND WONT ACCEPT HIM NOT MORE. Really?? He is not an aggressive dog, and if he was acting differently I am sure it was because they did something to him. He got home and was nervous. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS PLACE!!! Also I always use petco wherever I go and at this place they said I didn’t have a Free bath, took it from my reward account and charge me complete. What a bad experience. Now look at the pictures and tell me if you think this is and aggressive dog?! They also charged me lots of money and they didn’t give him a bath. He was smelling really bad!

They treated my dog like family & helped us find the perfect product for our needs - going as far as letting us test their products. I felt so welcomed & like an honored guest. I bought a product I would've never tried or considered previously because testing the product yielded surprisingly great results beyond my expectations. Their knowledge & care was profound.

Great staff....Good prices. Did u mention their awesome vital health plan for your pet! I got in on this little Gem right when they introduced it a couple years ago. TOTALLY worth it!

Staff was friendly and helpful to both people and our pet. Plenty of parking; they allow us to keep our vehicle in their lot while we walked the dog around the river. One negative was I noticed fruit flies inside a bag of treats.

All employees were very friendly and helpful - especially Joe. The way he handled the growing checkout line while helping customers was remarkable. I appreciated his help in explaining the reward program in a simple way that was easy to understand - he walked me through signing up on the app step by step. Great guy and should be recognized for going the extra mile!

Petco has poor customer service, it looks dirty and unorganized compared to PetSmart. Don't buy any mealworms or roaches there or crickets. Overpriced and half dead all the time. Do better.

A neighbor referred me to the Petco grooming and i am as pleased as they are. Great service and kind groomers! We will be seeing them again in 4 weeks for nail grinds.

I was looking for aquarium sealant and Science Diet sensitive stomach cat food, they had neither... Also very low stock. Probably not their fault. Store was very clean tho.

Very helpful clerk's, knowledgeable. Many selections for all pets needs. Make sure to check website before purchasing. Items are sometimes cheaper. They have a return policy. I found out if an item doesn't work you can return.

It feels like they are trying to cover to many different pets and supplies in a smaller store. The selection for each feels fairly limited compared to largest PetSmart and other Petco stores.
