They started putting poles on their carts so you cannot take them out of the store. In other words, they hate their customers . Had to carry 40lb bag of cat litter across the parking lot to the car. The things we do for our cats !
I used to love getting my dog groomed here because the staff seemed so friendly and gentle when handling him. But on my most recent visit, I don’t know if they used a different shampoo on him but they gave him back to me after his appointment with a giant rash. And instead of telling me “hey, his skin didn’t react well, he’s going to need some lotion or take him to the vet” they just put a handkerchief on him thinking I would not notice. I left the store and it was not until I got home when I saw my poor boy in great discomfort that I noticed they left his skin red and raw. I would’ve appreciated it more if they were honest and transparent than trying to hide what they did to him. So I stopped going there for his baths but I decided to give them one last chance when it came to nail trimming. It was a 10 minute nail trim appointment and they LEFT MY DOG LIMPING. Protect your dog, I suggest not coming here for grooming appointments.
Looks like aquarium is not maintaining well, I purchased 1 male guppy and it didn't even survive for 24 hrs. I took my tank water sample and confirmed all the water levels are good. If you don't have enough healthy fish do not encourage customer to buy the last piece of available breed. Regards, Divya
Awesome service. This place is a bit farthest to my house but it’s definitely worth it. Everything is the best you could ask for. The grooming salon is amazing. They have so much patience with my pup and always do it right. Prices are affordable and they have a great variety of products. All employees are always really nice. Even when you go without an appointment. The walks in are prefect. The mini makerover is awesome. This is definetely the place you should go.
Rebecca was extremely helpful and kind. She assisted myself and my cat Cocoa Chanel on finding the right harness that suits our needs. Gary cashier was personable and attentive to us during our checkout.
The store itself needs a bit of sprucing up but the staff is so helpful! I come in about every 2 weeks for dog food and it’s a delight to see Liana up at the register, she’s always so kind. She never fails to give my corgi Rex a biscuit. 2 Thumbs up to her and the rest of the Petco team! Keep up the great work guys!
I had a poor experience at the vaccine clinic. The techs were very nice and courteous but the vet was rude. She turned me away for vaccine service without even seeing my dog or looking over the dogs records. I did not get the vets name but she was a blonde heavy set lady with an Eastern Europe accent. I later received a call from the Union City store rep advising me to go to the San Jose site for vaccine service the very next day. When I showed up at the San Jose clinic they said they had never received any communication from the the Union City rep and could not see me. I even played them the voice mail Union City Petco left me telling me to show up at that address that day for service but apparently Union City did not follow up with the store they referred me to. In the end I was able to receive excellent service at the Petco Morgan Hill. Unfortunately Union City wasted a lot of my time and gas with their unprofessional actions.
The employees know nothing about taking care of the reptiles they house. It is so sad !!!!!
Have lots of selections and service for all kinds of pets, it would be better if the store is cleaner and replenish the empty shelves.
They ask you to give them 48 hours notice if you want to cancel a grooming appointment but they rescheduledcancelled my last 3 appointments less than 24 hours before. Every time because of some “family emergency”, it’s very disappointing
