Petco - St Louis

Kenny, our groomer is just amazing!!! She does such a great job on Meeko our Siberian husky. The staff is helpful. Store is always clean. Love our local Petco

I witnessed the kindest cashier check out a man who was having a very hard time. I came in to exchange a collar and while I was getting a different size, a man came in to purchase dog food. I stood in line and waited as he counted his change, he started with larger coins and was down to counting pennies. I was getting slightly irritated at how long this was taking when I heard the cashier offer a discount as the man began to cry. He didn’t have enough without it. She helped him count out his money and he was very thankful. She then asked if she could give the man a hug. He said yes and thanked her for her kindness. I felt horrible when I heard what this man had been through and was so grateful he ran into an Angel at the register that helped him out. Her name is Cassie and she is a young lady that is beautiful inside and out. Kudos for hiring this lovely, kind, and patient lady. I will be back!

I have bought many pet mice, hamsters and gerbils from this Petco. I also buy all of my pet food, bedding, and housing for all the pets I have bought at this Petco. This store always has cheerful, helpful, and very nice people that work there. They are all very knowledgeable in helping you find what is the best items for whichever pet you buy. I have been going there many years, and have never had a problem with this Petco store. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing a pet or any pet supplies.

We absolutely love this PetCo location!! Their grooming department is amazing and so compassionate! They always make sure our Alfie is well taken care of, even when she’s nervous and wanting to bark at other dogs! She loves their staff!

Kenny did an amazing job grooming my chihuahua! He’s very anxious and doesn’t like getting groomed, even at home and they did a excellent job keeping him calm. He looked better than expected. Will definitely be coming back soon! :

Too busy and not enough employees. Stock still boxed in isles and employee working on animals had too much work. NOT impressed or happy with little stock available and prices too high. Walmart had some similar items at less than half price!!

Great place. Staff is always friendly. Place is very clean. They have all types of clinics that will go on there sometimes. Plus you get to see animals so that's never a bad thing.

Nice folks at this store-- too bad those in the Ivory tower who created the Petco app with Vital Care didn't ask for input from the field- You have to go in and physically download rewards you pay for in advance with the Vital Care plan. Really like this store but the Petco app is unimpressive to say the least.

Curbside pickup orders is streamlined and very, very easy to use! Representative was courteous and very cheerful.

It's a great location, very clean and well laid out. Prices are competitive with the competition. Staff is always helpful. And the shelves seem stocked pretty well, when other places might be out of product.
