This is my favorite Petco. I have received excellent service every time I’ve come in. My dog received training from Jasbeth who is excellent and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about the employees here. Many of them know my dog’s name and are so friendly with him. I suggest this Westwood Blvd location to everyone.
I needed to buy more hay so I came here and I decided to check if they had any female Guinea pigs. I was looking to add a companion to the female Guinea pig I already own and there happened to be one available that day. Or I thought. After I brought it home and introduced them to each other in a neutral area, the new one quickly started to mount the other. A quick check confirmed that the Guinea pig was indeed male. How can you make such a fundamental labeling mistake, Petco?
The staff here is super helpful and they have fun events for customers. A wide selection of pet foods from Purina to Nulo for dog and cat.
They have a parking lot which is nice! Been there a few times and the workers are very friendly! A lot of cute stuff in there: and also lots of different brands of animal foods. You can definitely find everything for your pet in here. The store is clean and organized, easy to shop. I like shopping in here!
I went into pet Co. On Westwood Blvd , to get some food for my dogs for an entire 10 minutes. Nobody was on the floor. I went ahead and took the time to make two grooming appointments for my dogs. Still nobody on the floor then I use the bathroom and next to the bathroom was a little window, so I barely knocked on the window to get someone’s attention, and was attacked by one of the employees name Diana And told you can’t come back here. You can’t come back here I was not trying to go back there. I was trying to find out why nobody’s on the floor but she had no concern of my needs. She wasn’t on the clock yet, so she felt like I was disturbing her Upon check out after another gentleman did help me and seemed upset at me for this whole situation and did not want to get involved. The manager comes and abruptly takes over Diana‘s position at the cash register at which point she’s telling me not to scream which I wasn’t screaming you can check the cameras Mr. management And I filed a complaint after she wouldn’t give me her name. She lied and said her name was on the receipt. Her name is Ayah I believe, Came home canceled my grooming appointment. I want nothing to do with this company as long as they can train their people to take care of their customers I went there because I trusted Petco. I’ve been going there for 10 years or more 20 years where they’ve been taking care of my dogs, and these two women have to be fired. They have to leave this company. If I was the owner of this company and watch the video I was fired him on the spot they don’t belong there. The manager actually shooed me away like she was my teacher in kindergarten and refused to write her name down and lied and said it’s on the receipt and signal with her hands get out get out of here I asked the management to please watch the surveillance video It’s at 1:47 yesterday.
Good stuff with lots of promotion
The store was clean n perfect, the employees were amazing & very gracious, I give them but I was trying to set up the wild bird seed "as repeat" shipping every month and it gave us hell. Your Petco app needs to be upgraded and more user-friendly
Staff are friendly, but the fish department is awful. Constant dead fish in the tanks. I bought a female betta a few months ago that died after 3 days, and I just bought four neon tetras—3 of which are dead on the second night with ick disease. I tested my water parameters which are all fine and I’ve had one fish survive through this all, but I will not be buying another fish from here. Thoroughly disappointed.
My kid wanted a pet and we got it here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They took the time to explain each animal and when we finally picked one, they helped us purchase all the items needed.
Manager Diana is extremely rude and was absolutely of no assistance , I am spending a good amount of money but because my order was through instacart because of circumstances beyond my control she was of no help to my shopper. All that was asked was if there was anything in stock in the back as the website said fully in stock - instead of taking the 2 seconds to tell my shopper that unfortunately if it’s not on the floor it’s not there I had to call the actual store to be put on hold and passed on to a different assistant manager that sure sounded a lot like the original Diana I spoke to and was spoken to in a very condescending manor just to let my shopper know . They do not keep their website up to date with their stock so you may want to call and check it’s there first although they will more than likely just keep you on hold for an eternity and consider a different pet store
