Pete's Fruit Market-Bronzeville

Pete's is amazing, fresh fruit and veggies that are a little beat up at steep discounts!! I can make meals for an entire week on just $15. Highly recommend to anyone!

My son absolutely Looooves almost all fruits and vegetables and I am beyond thankful that he does enjoy these healthy snacks!! So we often shop at Pete’s Fruit Market. Normally we shop at a different location, But we have come to this store a few times as we are passing through the area for another errand. And they have always had a great selection for us to choose from and if my son leaves here happy, then a 5-Star rating is definitely appropriate!!

The store has a variety of seafood and meats you won't find in the larger more popular stores. They keep things neat and clean. And now has a hot food section with different kind of foods. They're prices are on the high side. They serve blue gill fillet for those who love this but either don't fish, can't fish, or simply just get that craving. You can also get just about any cut on your item in the meat department. Even cut up turkey legs into chops lol! For those of us who utilizes different fresh herbs and fruit. They also have a selecting available. Just so by and see for yourself. Enjoy! Oh! I believe he's the Mgr if you have something you'd like them to carry just let him know or you make your own natural products reach out they do support.

So the Pete's Fruit market on North isn't the one on Greenfield, it's a lot more localized but what I like about this one is that it has more consistent in the baskets. You're more likely to see tomatoes and nuts here than in Greenfield and even though you can notice the limited variety consistency is good

Found what I was looking for on every occasion..staff are friendly and helpful; But, Prices are higher than other stores. tores .

It was easy to find items that I needed. The store was very clean. They also carried foods for vegetarians.

Pete's is a great addition to any neighborhood. A conscientious employer and responsible part of the community. No need for self-check out you will be checked out promptly. There is no secret to the success of Pete's. You provide good nutritious food, treat your employees well and respond to your customers needs. If you are accustomed to the Southside store you will notice a difference. The store fits the neighborhood! It's Pete's not Kroger.

Wish they had delivery online like on doordash or Instacart or something

Excellent produce display, fresh and orderly. Remind me of the old school style grocery store. Homely and well stocked. Butcher was excellent.
