Great local place, good food, friendly bartender/waitress. $$ reasonably priced food and great beer specials. Roast beef, pork and ribs roasted, smoked out back! Naan bread made in house.
Ah...We have tried Pete's a couple occasions. Tonight is the second time we gave the good a try. I had blacken Maui, baked potato and broccoli. My fiance ordered clams and Cajun wings. He asked for all flats, received half drums and half flats. All the food was in our opinion, overcooked. Busy place for a Wednesday. Not a lot of parking options. Bartenders are friendly.
On our first visit to Petes, we had two 12 oz steak dinners. Our steaks were done to our liking of medium well, which is very difficult to get the local steak houses around Harrisburg to do. But Pete's did our steaks right the first time. The salad was fresh. The atmosphere was pleasant and the waitress was prompt.
Wonderful. Good food great atmosphere. Bartender did everything and in a very timely manner. Did not constantly harass us. Easy to spend a lot of time there ,from elsewhere had to get to next brewery. Was greattttttt.
Great local bar and grill. Stopped in while in town on business. Had lunch burger and onion rings and both were VERY GOOD. If I get back to Harrisburg area, I will eat there again.
My wife got the roast beef au jus she said it was good. I got the crab cakes. .seemed like it took forever. Was told takes longer to make. When they finally came out five minutes later . Well let's say a little disappointed. They were warm. Not hot not cold but warm as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for a little time. Kinda of sad. Was really looking forward to there crab cakes. Was told they were excellent.
Back street family oriented Bar and Grill in New Cumberland. Good range of American comfort food and the bar staff are generous on the pour side of town. Inside space is much bigger than it looks.
Just went there first time. Food was very good. Service was good. However when I payed the check and do not get my change back that is a no no. The bartender/waitress kept the change. So I gave her a less tip. Owner needs to straighten this out.
Bit more of a bar atmosphere then I was expecting. Which wouldn’t be all bad except that I’m preggers. The food is made well and the waitress was kind. So overall a good experience!
Maybe it was a fluke but I was in town for work and ordered a NY strip. It was like shoe leather and under cooked. They forgot the bleu cheese and french fries I ordered. Literally the worst steak I ever had. I couldn't even eat it. Filled up on fries and squash.
