I arrived on time and stood in line at port authority in New York. I got to the front of the line and was told that the tickets needed to be printed to board. After 25 minutes waiting, I sprinted up to print them and their printer did not work, and would to sign me in using my confirmation number. There was a 45 minute wait to get to the front of the line where I was told that they won't allow me to take the next bus without buying a whole new ticket, which was now 65 dollars day-of and not online. I tied to speak to managers but they were incredibly rude, practically threatening. I am so aggravated I can't believe it. There were 8 people on the next bus, out of 55 seats trust me I absolutely f****in counted. This trip ended costing me over a hundred for a dirty, late bus- and with a staff of employees that set a record for garbage employees. You don't refuse to provide a requirement to board then refuse boarding. The reason they don't do e-tix is that they wouldn't be able to double charge the occasional passenger like me. Total fraud. I didn't deserve this at all.
RUDE RUDE RUDE WORKERS! I see I am not the only one who had horrible experience with their employees.. Save your money and ride megabus! Honestly, the workers are so so nice! If not NICE at least, nicer than the ones that work on this company.
I ride with peter pan on last Saturday 06-25-2016 . Bus and ride was good. But the two women working in port authority counter behaves like i am an alien. They were not helping when i asked how can i print my ticket. fortunately some on told me we can print it from the grey hound counter situated in the lower level of port authority station. I would have given a much better rating if i didn't experience such a rude behavior from that counter/office
Peter pan drivers are usually great! I pay a little extra just to take the bus instead of the train from Waterbury, CT to New York City for work. However, BEWARE COMMUTERS of the driver on the 8 p.m. departure from nyc to Hartford. He is the only driver that I have had an issue with. And there is CONSISTENTLY an issue! Peter pan has informed me that the problem will be dealt with and yet all week, the man has been taking passengers from the wrong gate, forcing passengers who have been waiting in line for hours to be taken on last if at all. Today he is late...AGAIN! and for a good to four weeks he would just sit in the bus and not board passengers until after the departure time. like not a few minutes after departure time...like 30-40-60 minutes after! Take the earlier bus if you can...this driver is THE WORST!!!!
1 extra star because the bus driver was nice. The route schedule is dishonest. NYC to Providence in 3.5 hours? I call BS. As it is now it'll have taken 5.5 hours if google maps was correct. I'd take the Amtrak and save the hassle. Service is cheap but don't mislead people when every day you take that long. I have the time to write this review because I'm still on the bus that should've been arriving now and we're about 1/2 way there.
I experienced the worst trip to Boston, I bought a ticket in the morning and the person or the lady that was at the counter was rude and very angry, this lady, wasn't friendly at all, ok after i got the tickets, I had to take the bus at 4:pm to NYC, and it was the same Lady, that made me waited until the last person to go inside the bus, then she told me that I had an attitude, and I said, listen YOU are not giving me a Ride, I'm paying for the tickets to go back to NY, and She doesn't care, she gave the ticket to the driver, and said, do whatever you want, really?? I'll never take this transportation to anywhere in USA... So Please Peter Pan, hired people who don't have attitude with the customer and have some Smile and good customer services!!
I travel ofter to Washington DC on Bolt Bus, Mega Bus and the Delux bus- they are all pretty good but whoa!!!! i had to take Peter Pan last night returning from DC and this bus line is the worst... 1. many broken seats on the bus 2all seats recline so far that the person in front of you is in your lap.I am 5 ft tall and when the woman in front of me reclined her seat it hit my KNEES hard! 3 the bus stunk like a outhouse 4 Change fee is 20 dollars 5 the 10 minute rest period was 20 minutes long 6. Seats are ripped up lending to a totally disgusting appearence - take this bus line at your own risk- it is totally gross
Wonderfully inexpensive, quick under 2 hrs, clean, courteous, completely hassle-free first-time Peter Pan bus ride for us from Philly to NYC yesterday, 5-7pm, with super-professional driver--and host--Dan. Exactly the type of sterling employee any company would be more than proud to have as a representative. Congratulations...and thank you, Dan & Peter Pan.
Pay 43$ for a bus that has no outlet and wifi. This is not the first time take Peter Pan bus, lot of buses does not have outlet and wifi I pay these service for nothing. Horrible bus driver. It is an express bus line, supposedly be in New York on 5:30 but it finally get in to New York at 6:30. One hour late not because of traffic, because the driver LINES POOL-PPP2041 March 11, 2016 2:15 to new York doesn't goes to highway and stop at somewhere for 10 minutes for nothing!!! Seriously? Never want to do your business again.
Filthy buses and some of the rudest staff I've ever come across the bus drivers seem to hate their jobs and so take it out on all the customers. Wouldn't mind but we'd actually booked with Greyhound, only to find the service to Philadelphia was operated by this hunk of junk company. Never again.
