I am very happy with Dr Peterson. She always listens and advises me. I have been going to her office for almost 4 years now and I’m sad to hear she is retiring. I will miss her.
Here is my experience with Dr. Peterson. I have seen her a couple times now. And if I had known how she was. I would never have started seeing her. I have some serious issues right now. I am in constant pain. I need to see an orthopedic surgeon. I was told in July. I would be referred. Never happened. I saw her again in August. I was told again twice. I would be referred again. Then I was told, she wanted to get my records from my previous orthopedic surgeon office. Long story short. It took me to call my previous surgeon office and get their fax number. Then call Dr. Peterson office back with the number. Fast forward to today. Every thing they needed. Has been sitting in my file. For 2-3 weeks. And I was told yesterday. They would work on it. Called today, it was not touched. Was told again today rudely, "I will drop everything I am doing and work on it today". I've been dealing with medical issues since April. And no doctor wants to listen. They only want to push medication. I know what is causing my issues. But here I still sit waiting to see a specialist.
Dr. Peterson is a very patient and thorough physician. She takes as much time with a patient as is needed. I have seen her for many years, even though I have to travel out of my city to see her. I am very happy with Dr. Peterson and her office staff. She and her office staff gets 5 stars from me. Thank you very much Dr. Petersen. God bless you.
I’m so thankful Dr. Peterson is my dr! She’s very thorough and her nurses and front desk Ariana are the Best! They take care of you like a patient not a customer, they also do a great job getting referrals taken care of quickly. Thank you!
As the other people have stated there seems to be some kind of a hustle going on with making appointments at this doctors office. I have had the same experience with wondering why do I need to make another appointment to fill out a formI am here thats what the appt is for? and then when you go through the other appointment that will take over a month to get it the doctor has no idea why you are there????.
My mother has had Dr. Janette Peterson for over 10 yrs. But theses last 4 times that she had appointments I have not liked the way Dr. Peterson has seen my mother she doesn’t check her feet unless I say something to Dr. Peterson mother is a diabetic I though that would be part of the exam .my mother had congested heart failure & her legs were dripping with water. Dr. Peterson never suggested wrapping her legs. I did it because of a person I knew who had the the same thing happened to her. her Dr. Told her to wrap the legs.office staff has been rude to my family members when I have been unable to get to theses appointments with my mother. One of the last things that happened pissed me off was I had a form that Dr. Peterson needed to sign & her office charged my daughter $10.00 to fill out that form. Another insistent that happened we had a follow up appointment and when my daughter checked in they said why are you here in such a rude way. I’m not happy with Dr Janette Peterson any more.
This office has the most disrespectful staff that I have ever spoken to over the phone. I haven't had a chance to meet with this doctor in person due to the staff taking things in their own hands and cancelling an appointment, then asking for her to pay $50.00 in order to re-schedule another one. My grandmother is being seen there and I feel that if you have insurance other than MediCal- go somewhere else! We will be looking for a new doctor ASAP!
Bedside manner is not the best. I'm not sure why one would need to make another Appt. to get a referral to see a specialist just to hear the same things said at every other appt. before.Why make someone in chronic pain wait a month for an appointment when all along I have been telling Dr.Peterson I'm in PAIN. This process makes no sense.
Dr. Pererson has been our family Doctor for 13 years she has always been respectful and caring and always sent us in another djrection when needed Iam glad to know her. Her staff has always accomondated if needed . Larry Iverson
