I have used Dr Joel Peterson since he opened his first location on West Kimberly with my firstborn who is now 39 years' old. Then, when he quickly became known and popular, he needed to expand, opening his current location. I had 2 children thereafter and, of course, stayed with Children's Dentistry! My 2nd child is now 30 years' old and my youngest, now 18 and, yes, still sees Dr Peterson. I got lucky when I found Children's Dentistry in the 90s for my 3 kids. We've all grown to trust and respect him and his staff! Thank You
Our twins have finally reached the adult threshold and have been with Dr. Peterson the whole way. I appreciate his staff's time to get three kids through simultaneously to ensure it doesn't take a lot of time. Dr. Peterson takes the time to thoroughly explain each of the kids dental health and the way forward. All of the support staff are wonderful also.
Today was our first visit here. I am always nervous going to new dentists, because my oldest son is afraid. The staff here along with Dr Peterson did amazing in making my boys feel comfortable. This was the first dental appointment we've had with no tears and they both walked out with smiles!! The reception ladies were very helpful with a separate task as well. All these negative reviews for not taking their insurance, maybe inquire what insurance they take when you first call. That's what I did. Not everyone takes the same insurances.
I left a message over the holiday weekend as my daughter was having tooth pain, Dr Peterson promptly called me back while they were closed to help understand the situation, got us in as soon as possible after the holiday and called after the visit to follow up and ensure all is well. He cares about his patients and it's greatly appreciated!
We have seen Dr. Joel for the past 8 years and have nothing but great things to say! He always makes our kids feel comfortable and they love the office set up along with the toys they get. He never suggests unnecessary procedures.
Dr. Peterson and his staff are great! The office itself is fun and kid friendly. My kids actually look forward to going! Dr. Peterson explains everything throughly and is patient and gentle. His staff is as well.
Dr. Peterson and his staff are absolutely amazing! They are so great with my kids and make them feel so comfortable during every visit. The office is fun and entertaining for the kids as they wait too.
I’m surprised at some of the negative reviews here, but we have had great visits here. We were referred from our family dentist for more extensive work for my younger daughter, and they were great. Professional, good at making her comfortable instead of scared, and Dr. Peterson explained everything thoroughly to us each step of the way. For extensive children’s dental care like we needed, it was the right call to go here.
The office is very kid friendly with games, fish tanks, and lots of Disney/Pixar characters. Dr. Peterson and his staff are knowledgeable, thorough, and kind.
New to the QCA and so happy to have found Dr. Peterson’s office for our daughter. The negative reviews below do not do Dr. Peterson and his staff justice. Our visit was wonderful and everyone was very pleasant and informative. We look forward to continuing our care here!
