Owner Pete and his wife are an AMAZING asset to this neighborhood and Chesapeake community! Cynthia @Local's in the back grilling up amazing food! Yummmmmm If you haven't you have to try this store! ***If you don't know Pete now owns the Shell at Cedar/Battlefield*** I was so excited to see his face this morning!!! Excited for me, sad he needs rest & family time. God Bless Pete and his family!

Only until I moved away did I realize how nice it was to have this place by my house. The two guys were cool and friendly, we'd even bs a bit if we weren't in a hurry. They had what I needed and were always convenient. Solid corner-store

Great hole in the wall place to get cooked to order food. I included some pictures of the menus, and I totally enjoyed the steak burrito and the steak street taco that I got. You will not be disappointed.

Sonja and Pete make you feel welcome soon as you enter their store conveniently located and the middle of the neighborhood stores been owned by a few different people over the years come here many of times over the years when working around the neighborhood they got a food menu Lotto alcohol wine snacks a wide variety of items. Does last minute need you didn't pick up at the grocery store. Very clean store and very nice building keep up the good work two thumbs up 5 star

This is a review of the Food Mart only, and does not include the ‘Locals’ restaurant inside. Please see my review of Locals for more information on the food there. This convenience store is an average convenient store with candy, drinks, alcohol, and other typical items. The cashier was friendly and the store was generally clean and maintained, but there was cluttered items around and general convenience store disrepair. It’s your typical convenience store.

The bald old man with the bike doesn’t give the best customer service not sure why you catch an attitude with a person who spends constant money here but I don’t mind driving this extra 3 min to a gas station instead hope u get same energy u give

The married couple who own this establishment are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. Store is always clean and stocked. Service is always prompt and polite. Reasonable pricing and there is also a very good hot food/restaurant area inside. 11/10 would recommend

PETE'S FOOD MART is always friendly clean and offers reasonable prices ..Most friendly to all customers..Petes also great for fresh cooked burgers Mexican fare and specials of the day. Cindy owner Chef for " LOCALS" always prepares fresh on the go and sit down meals as requested. LUCKY to have a Great food mart and eatery so close to Great Bridge residents. Pete and family truly represent the neighborhood clientele. Thank you Pete, family and especially CINDY for "LOCALS". grill.

Love Pete’s can just bike there with my friends and grab snacks they remember me and my friends and they have great selection for good pricing
