I came all the way from Seattle with my two ferrets. Having limited income, I simply couldn't afford to have both pets done in the Seattle area. The price was remarkably reasonable and I was able to work it into my budget easily...I was not expecting the levels of professionalism and kindness I received when I dropped my babies off. When I started to cry, i received a tissue and a hug and we thoroughly worked through EVERY detail until everything was arranged how I wanted it to be. Further, the turn around time was days as opposed to weeks! I would rate this place higher, if I could.
Just picked up my beardie one minute ago. These guys did everything well as expected. Its not a pleasant time when pets die, but the silver lining is that Petland was fast, compassionate, very very affordable, and had excellent communication. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but physically looking at the ashes indicated they did it completely properly. Unlike another review i read, the volume of what i received is proportionate. I want to let others reading this know I came into this with a lot of anxiety and skepticism, not gonna lie never had this type of service done before and ultimately i've seen nothing whatsoever to be worried about. Thanks Petland!
Cheri, Jason, and another gal here are all amazing people. There was a deceased lab on the side of the road for almost a week that no one claimed and the county wouldn’t pickup. Cheri said we could bring the dog here and they’d cremate and bury his ashes, free of charge. Really good people.
The receptionist that works here is nothing less than a bleeding heart. Showed absolutely no compassion for my situation. Couldn’t of had a more put out tone in her voice. Didn’t even listen to what I was calling about, before she started flapping her mouth off. For anyone considering this place don’t. If the receptionist is allowed to treat customers like this. Imagine how her and the rest of the staff treat your animals.
Can't say enough good things about Petland. When we put down our horse they came and took him without a peep on the same day and returned his ashes just when they said they would. It gave me comfort and I'm very grateful.
Petland cemetery did an awesome job after I lost my 40 year old horse. This horse has been with me most of my life. I wasn't sure if he was going to be put down they reassured me to just leave a message as they would be closing in 20 minutes. She said she could have someone out there by 12 noon the next day if you needed. So just leave a message and someone will call me in the morning and sure enough they did and walked me through the whole process. When they picked up the horse the next day they were so fragile and gentle with him. Very caring. I got him privately cremated and delivered back to me within a week. In a cardboard box but honestly I wouldn't expect them to deliver a huge animal back in any other way. Thank you so much for all your work.
My 27 year old bird died and I asked the vet for a private cremation; they sent her here. I also asked for a talon imprint. I got back a nice wooden box and a necklace keepsake. The keepsake was empty, so I opened the box and inspected the ashes. There were absolutely no bone or beak fragments; just smooth ash. The ash was a bit more for a bird of that size and put into an overtly huge bag and shoved into the box. I'm not sure what I got back. No talon imprints, except inked ones done by the vet since I requested a necropsy. The "certificate" is just a half sheet of paper with a poem on it. Also, a brochure for more urns??? Really??? I didn't have a choice from the vet office in getting to choose the urn or just get the ashes alone. A few years ago, we lost one of our dogs due to age and our regular vet also used this company. Husband was able to choose the urn and got back a clay paw imprint; the condolence card came from the vet and staff. Our elderly cat was done by a different company which provided a wood urn with bagged ashes, fur clipping, clay paw imprint, condolence card, and certificate all nicely boxed up in one unit. That's the way it should have been done.
Took my 14 yr old dog to my vet to have put down. Wanted her cremated and have her ashes returned to me. Petland was awesome. Got a cedar like box returned along with a necklace of her ashes. They also sent certification of cremation as well as a card with prayers So very compassionate.
When your fur babies are family you treat them as you would a family member. Petland was so kind and caring when my senior puppy passed away. If the need ever arrives please call them they take care of everything for you. I am very grateful for their services.
I had my heart horse cremated this year and they were excellent. Had her back home with me in a week and their team was very respectful and helpful in updating us throughout the process. Unbeatable price and did great work for us.
