What a relief to find Dana and Hubbard Pet Resort for my dear sweet kitty. The place is neat, clean, adoreable... The staff very professional and friendly. She's even showcasing herself when friends stop by. It's a treat to see this meek little gal coming into her own. She'll be going there from now on. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
It seems only fair to share this young lady’s story after reading so many reviews about this owner being “professional”. The owner was going to set up an interview for this young lady who had tons of recommendations for the job as she has tons of experience in caretaking for animals. Only to turn her down immediately after finding out that she is deaf. Stating that she is deaf and couldn’t even hear a child then she wouldn’t be able to care for an animal. Plain ignorance on the owners part. Good luck in court!
Hubbard pet resort has cared for our cat and dog multiple weeks over the past year or 2. I could not want better care. The staff are kind, friendly and engaged in caring for my boys like they were their own.
The staff are really friendly and truly love animals. They handle special requests such as give meds, and extra meals. They offer daycare and extended stay. The care that is given here is above and beyond. They also have grooming staff members for those that would need the service.
The owner is extremely discriminatory against people with disabilities. They tried to justify it and back track after it was pointed out to them that it is illegal. Instead of making things right they hired an attorney to add salt to the wound of this more than capable deaf lady. It shows you they want to cover something up. I will not take my business here despite their care, cleanliness, etc… people who treat people that way have no place to run a business.
Not hiring someone because they’re deaf? Really? Good god I hope you never have to experience what it’s like living with a disability because what a rude awakening that would be for you! What a rotten human being you are at this moment Lesley. Do better!!!
The owner of this business discriminates against deaf people, and talks down to them as if they are lesser humans. If they cant respect fellow humans, how can you trust them with our furry friends? Do not give them your money!
My animals have been going here for over 10 years. They are always happy to arrive and are well cared for. If family can not watch my pets, they come here. Wouldn't take them anywhere else.
Hubbard Pet Resort did a fantastic job taking care of our fur baby Abby. We can't say enough about their care and love for all the precious pets they care for.
They flat out discriminated against a young deaf woman, blatantly telling her the reason they won’t hire her is because she’s deaf. Which is illegal. Imagine being such a bad person, you refuse to hire people with disabilities.
