What a wonderful find. I went this last Friday June 22nd 2018 and to my surprise they had a LIVE Band playing. The band played some great music that took me back to happy times. The waitress was very helpful and recommended some great dishes. There were 7 of us and we all had a great time, delicious food and great wine and other spirits. Oh and we all danced the night away. I gave the Manager/Owner a thumbs up on our way out. Can't wait to go back.
Came for a business lunch. We were the only people there in this beautiful restaurant. We felt like royalty sitting in the top section. Server was great, food waa good. Brief lunch menu but we ordered an appetizer as well. Turkish coffee at the end was a bit too muddied.
The restaurant is nice. Well decorated. Really clean The waiter was nice and helpful The food disappointed. I was expecting much more from a 4.6 restaurant. Lack of flavors and mixed in a way that eating was unpleasant, in fact I barely eat my food. I asked to take it with me because I didn't want them to feel bad but I threw it away after leaving the restaurant The Grape leaves which are pretty much dolmates weren't fresh and that was a turn off for sure. I always eat good ones in other restaurants and I wasn't expecting this.
Good was fresh and delicious. Good selection and interesting craft cocktails. The variety appetizer plate was really great. Family run place so service was a bit slower than one would typically expect. The location is hidden in the back corner of a strip mall so not alot of foot traffic. Highly recommended the Arabic coffee!
Great place to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends or impress someone on a date. Friendly service, top-quality food and beverages and a warm and inviting atmosphere. When you're looking for a place to eat or have a beverage in the southwestern edge of the San Fernando Valley or Thousand Oaks, head to Petra Mediterranean Cuisine! When you walk into the restaurant, you'll know that you've made a great choice. Their food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and convenience are amazing! Teddy
I love everything about this restaurant. The food is delicious, the Chicken Maqluba and Mansaf is a must try. So tender with the right amount of seasoning. Of course there is a full bar with any drink you can imagine and want. There is a live band entertainment which I thought was unbelievable. The service is excellent. From the time you enter the restaurant until you leave, all the people you encounter are very nice, greets everyone with smile. I mean I am in love with Petra restaurant. The location, the food and drink, the service and live entertainment, all wonderful. This is what you call a five star experience.
Yum, yum, yum! This was my first time tying Mediterranean food and I fell in love with it. I ordered the Filet Mignon Prime Shish Kebab and it was delicious. It was so juicy and it had a really good seasoning. I would definitely get it again. The environment was so welcoming and the customer service was superb. Highly recommended for people wanting to try new foods.
Beautiful ambiance, large space and very inviting. Rod, our server, was very kind, efficient, hospitable, and a doll. The food was delicious, large servings of meat and vegetables. Rice portion could been a bit larger but of course I can eat rice like air. Did not consume alcohol but they had a very attractive radiant bar, with copious amounts of liquor. Prices were adequate. Will so come back!! Thank you for existing!
Altogether the place was so well attended when I came there, I definitely liked the food. Obviously Middle Eastern with a Jordanian essence, the waiter made us feel welcome. Try the Hummus and the Petra salad. Also, the chicken kabob. Enjoy!
I've been to this new-ish restaurant 3 times now. The food has been consistently delicious. This time I had the filet mignon shish kabob and shared a salad. The meat was very nicely seasoned and cooked. I really like the rice as well. It's not your typical Persian rice. It's darker in color and they put some sliced almonds on top. The salad was also not the typical Shirazi that everyone else serves. It was cut up into larger pieces and had fresh mint thrown in. It was really good. Oh, and the dip for the pita bread was also very different and tasty. I don't know what it is, but it has sesame seeds and some type of oil in it. We were there on a Saturday night around 8pm and the place was absolutely dead. I felt sorry for the belly dancer who was basically dancing for herself. This location is not conducive to traffic hidden in the corner and no visible signage from T.O. blvd. I'm afraid this restaurant is not going to make it, which is a shame because the food is different and delicious. Go check it out before they go out of business. My only criticism is that it took a long time to get our check. After about 10-15 minutes, I finally had to ask for it. The service up to that point was very good. They shouldn't drop the ball right at the end when they should be leaving a good final impression. I didn't want to remove a star for this as I really want people to try this restaurant out.
