We've been using Petro for a number of years, and the other morning ran into our first ever problem with the boiler. They got an appointment quickly for us, and the service tech Sasha was great. He took the time to explain what the issue was, what he would be doing to fix it and was done withing the timeframe he provided. Everything is working great now & we have heat and hot water again! Thanks so much for the great service!
My husband called to see about getting our burner serviced as it was setting off the smoke alarm and within an hour Sasha tech # 646 was at our house. He did an amazing job, took apart whatever he needed to and cleaned the whole thing out. It is near our dryer so it had a build up of lint in it which was burning every time the heat kicked on. He was very clean, professional and efficient. He was also very knowledgeable and thorough and really seemed to have our best interest at heart and we will forever be grateful for his work!
Sad to say that Petro didn't come through after calling them a few times. They said that they would have a supervisor call me regarding a follow up visit that needed to get an item replaced. However, no call and no follow up. So annoyed because have been with them for some time. Their service is has been slipping over the past years. Sloppy and shoddy service is getting so tiresome especially when you are paying the bills...It seems that in this day and age, good service is getting to be a rare exception.
For two years they broke appointments for preventive maintenance visits and every time I try to call them it's over one hour to get through and have to wait for callbacks which often come at times that are not good for me. Calling Petro is like calling an airline! In reponse to the below response from them, the situation was not addressed other than their 'Loyalty Department' being unreachable other than them calling at random times, and not answeringt the phones, and hence why we changed away from Petro for better service and lower pricing.
I was able to smoothly check on my next scheduled oil delivery and move it up by a week prior to the holidays and the cold snap we were experiencing on LI.
Not the same company it was years ago. Let my tank run dry then charged me to restart boiler. Good riddance!
My Service contract covers the full service for boiler and water heater. I am using the same contract and never charged for annual tune up or service. But this year they charged for the annual service which was covered part of my services and raised invoice on the same. Called multiple times to revert the charges and nothing happened yet.
Cut off service without warning, even though bill was paid. Left us to freeze an entire weekend. Refused to compensate or even take responsibility. A bunch of bureaucratic a-holes.
The staff who come to service the boiler are very good in their behavior, work and always on time Maintenance and service contracts with Petro are very beneficial for anyone
We have a tune up for our air conditioning system in May 2022. Steven from Petro home service came to provide the service. Steven was professional and put on shoe cover to protect our floor. He was considerate and explained to us what needed to be done. We would recommend Petro to our friends .
