Giving 5 stars because the staff were GREAT! Unfortunately the steak and cheese I got to go and the freshly made donuts were not good. The steak was so dry you couldn't swallow it and the BIG donuts they sell there are also not special and not doughy or anything worth getting. Other food may be great but everything I got was really nasty. If you're looking for nice people I'd go here, but if you're looking for good food I'd skip this spot.
Decent place, mostly typical Petro. Reasonable with paid/free parking spots ratio. Clean parking lot, decent food. Rating low due to dried fecal material on restroom floor 6 hours after informing attendants to the issue.
Decent truck stop but cleaner than most TA. Restaurant earned them a 5 star review.
Great local dive to get away from the corporate truck stops. Staff friendly, food was great, prices were very reasonable and the store was stocked. Would definitely stop here to get away from the highway for a bit.
Nice place, men's restroom stall door needs attention. Door locks, but it still opens because it's broke. If there was more than 2 toilets I wouldn't even bother with this review.
Ok so let's start this by saying I am an OTR driver. I parked sat in the dirt to do a 34 hr reset. I ate several times in the resteraunt what I had was amazing. The staff all of them were great. I felt at ease even walking my dog after dark. As a woman alone it's great. The two valett in the shower laundry area super cool to chat with. Doughnuts majorly huge fenominal designs dawn their baker rocks. Try the cinnamon rolls pie or cake too worth the stop
Great place, food was delicious and their cinnamon French toast is out of this world : Super clean place also. Very happy with our experience
Great place! There is a sit down restaurant. They have showers and a truckers lounge. There are several touristy things to look at inside the store. If you have dogs be careful bc there are large paw prints in the mud towards the back field.
I really wanted to like this place. I have driven past this historic truck stop numerous times in my life and always wanted one of their world famous cinnamon rolls. I finally had a chance this morning to stop in and i have to say it was not good. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, service was amazing, coffee was good and flavored creamers were offered. However the grits were undercooked, parts super chunky and hard, and soupy at the same time. The world famous cinnamon roll? Hard, dry, and stale. I had hoped that by eating in the restaurant i would have been served a hot and freshly made cinnamon roll and not one from a take out container tossed in the microwave. I wonder if i would have been better off just purchasing a prepackaged one and waiting to enjoy it when i got home.
Always a good meal, friendly staff and plenty of things to browse around in the C Store. Dont forget your Sweet Roll!!
