My parents brought their dog here for a groom for the first time on Monday, April 8, 2024 .. this was their first time being at this location for a groom because it was closer to their home and more convenient because their normal place was on the other end of the city, anyway…. The next day their dog got sick and was throwing up continuously, would not eat or drink water, she was not herself. When my parents took their dog to the vet, they were able to drop her vomiting etc… went back home for 24 hours and she was still not eating or drinking, my parents took her to the vet again, to find out she tested positive for PARVOVIRUS! My parents dog in an INSIDE dog and NOT outside. She does not interact with any other dogs… their dog picked up this virus from this location! My parents called to tell them that their dog was sick, all they replied with was “oh, sorry. No one complained about anything” so after their dog got tested, I called themself to explain EVERYTHING. I got the same answer “oh, sorry. We had no complaints, I will call families and let them know” which I doubt. ZERO RECOMMEND! They probably don’t clean their tools properly! My parents dog is now having the medical needs she is needed! All thanks to them! Smh
Always do a great job grooming our dogs. Staff is pleasant. Location and hours are excellent.
Went to Pets 101, yesterday, for the first time to have my two dogs groomed. Anna did a fantastic job. I have two different breeds of dog, and each requires a very specific cut. I don’t know if the groomer has ever cut a Bedlington terrier before but she did an incredible job. And Patrick, the wire haired fox terrier, looks, as always, very handsome . Highly recommend this business based on my experience.
Affordable, quick walk in nail service
Had our puppy groomed here for her 1st "blowout". Groomer is fantastic, great job. Our dog loved her. Will definitely go back again. Great family owned location! Your money stays in the community
Devon Mymko’s response to the “owners response” about my negative review. They claim my dog was matted. This is completely false. My dog has never in his life been matted, he has been to multiple groomers for the same cut before this and even at this facility, not once has anyone communicated to me that he was matted, it has literally never been an issue for my dog. We took him to our now permanent groomer and she informed us that he was brushed while still wet, which caused brutally painful cuts all over his body. Any good groomer would not do this. That was the issue and not matted fur like the owner claims.
We just got our dog groomed. He's a Bichon Shih tzu cross . His coat is so thick and was getting so long. We've been waiting to get him in to his regular groomer, but we couldn't wait any longer. Poor guy was panting in the house cause he was too hot!! I was so happy to get him in this morning at Pets 101, 2573 Portage Avenue. Chelsea was the groomer. What an amazing job she did. So reasonable. We are switched and will be using her from now on! Thank you for helping Bailey!! See you in a couple of months!
I have been taking my dogs here for years now. I have always been very pleased with the results. The owners and staff and groomers take excellent care of my babies!
