How is it legal to keep living creatures in tiny glass boxes with no contact with other animals or natural light. Can’t believe this a thing in 2023!!!
So, I bought a new friend there. My pet hamster Rodney. The guy that helped me know everything there was to know about hamster's and helped pick out all the associated things needed. He didn't up sell me though. He pointed out mostly what things I needed and what the pet would like. I didn't spend a ton of money, I'm very happy with my pet and the store itself was awesome. I recommend for anyone to go there.
Do not come here for fish, every time I come in they are half sick and dying/dead. They don’t clean their bettas enough. Took these photos today, there were multiple dead ones and I saw others for sale with disease. Dead fish in the tanks are also sitting there rotting. Location needs to improve or stop selling fish.
Damiska is the best groomer! My pups are always so happy to see her! Really the best at what she does!
Valerie is the best if you're looking for any aquatic buddies. She is incredibly knowledgeable and actually cares about the wellness of the critter. Rare to see in modern big chain pet stores, she will walk you through everything beginning to end to make sure you have the skills and knowledge to properly care for your new buddy.
I have a new found love for Petsmart now that we found Damiska P. I wanted my pup to have a mohawk and she delivered it and then some. My boy has never looked so cute!! She was efficient and creative. I didn’t have to give much direction and she knew exactly how to deliver. 5 stars times 2. definitely recommend Damiska P. she’s the new GO TO GIRL!!
Was threatened by a Male employee with a large knife that fell out of his pocket and he also used the n word out loud toward me. That is, unacceptable behaviour. I spoke with the manager Matt today March 21, 2022. I have a video of him saying the n word, and you can see the knife fall out of his pocket approximately 10:45 -10:50 am. Multiple employees are trying to hold him back from attacking me in the photo.
I came to PetSmart to get a betta fish and I found George! They had lots of betta fish options, I already picked the best one, but you can still go and get yourself the second cutest betta.
Incredibly frustrated with the service we received today. After dropping our dog off at 9am, we got a call at 11:45 saying that they could not give our dog a bath because he was too anxious. That is a very valid reason but the call was 2 hours and 45 minutes after we dropped him off, meaning he was sitting in a cage the whole time!! Of which they admitted to when we came to get him. Their reasoning was that they had "2 express appointments" which still does not give them the right to leave our dog in a cage for 3 hours unattended. The bather wouldn't come out to talk to us and the 2 managers that came out were somewhat apologetic. Would not recommend their services to anyone.
