My partner and I recently adopted a little black cat from this PetSmart. The name on her cage was Blackie but considering my complexion, I did not keep that name. We named her Fern aka Fernice aka Fernie Bernie aka Fernie Bernstein. The folks who helped us out at the adoption center were both so sweet and very gentle with her when helping to move her from her cage into her transport carrier. We also want them to know that she was completely settled and confident that our house belongs to her in less than 48 hours. Her favorite hobby is watching the birds and squirrels enjoy their feeder from her window and sitting on her dad’s lab while he plays video games
I've been coming to this PetSmart on Youngfield for 20 years and never have had a bad experience! The people who work at this location are always friendly and helpful. Faithful is so nice and bends over backwards to get the food my four cats look forward to. It's been challenging with the pandemic, and I have totally appreciated the extra mile she has gone at times. Good customer service is still alive and well here!
We normally go to the petsmart in littleton off of Bellview and Wadsworth. We needed to get our 7 month old Cockapoo in to get groomed but our location was booked for nearly a 1 week and half. I checked around other locations and the wheat ridge locations had opening every single day, throughout the whole day! This was the first RED FLAG!! We've never had Any complaints from our groomer that normally grooms him, in fact I've watched through the window for his first groom and he was so calm. He sat there and got groomed with no problems. She would give him kisses and talk to him, he was good. When my husband picked him up at the WheatRidge location, he was still WET! The lady said he didn't want to be dryed and was resisting! She also claims that it took 2 women to groom our pup! Supposedly he was trying to bite them and wouldn't let them groom him. I'm just so confused how it too 2 women to groom my puppy!!!! They claimed they feared their LIFE and were uncomfortable and felt unsafe to continue! His hair cut was ridiculous! They trimmed one eye but left the other eye untrimmed.. he couldn't see out of the other eye! I had to do fix it myself! The women also LITERALLY got the razor and shaved to his bare skin below his behind. It looks awful. You can just tell the women here do not like or even care about their job or the little furry pets at all! I did call and complain, emailed the manager photos of how my dog looked and he gave me a refund. Please!!!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! There was a reason they had openings everyday at all times... Please read reviews! Do your research. I typically do not do reviews but I had to on this one. It got me so upset. I wonder how they treated my puppy! I highly recommend the Littleton location off of Wadsworth and Belleview, no complaints. The women who do the grooming are very professional, kind and you can tell they love what they do.
Charged $1 more than posted price. When I asked about it, employee said that was the member price. I went and checked the tag and there was no nonmember price. Scummy tactics, got a refund for the correct price.
Good selection of dog food but more expensive than Chewy. Teenage cashier was defensive and unaware of their posted sales prices. Didn't know how to ring up sales prices.
This is my favorite store. Every person at this pet store is amazing and with one of the great customer services. Clean store with variety of products. Associates are very helpful at all times.
Took our labradoodle in for grooming and she failed twice to behave, meaning she bit the groomer. But I must praise Mady for her perseverance and tolerance. We tried cbd to calm our dog but she was still too anxious and misbehaved. I like PetSmarts groomers and appreciate the effort.
We have a 350 gallon saltwater aquarium setup at our business The RV Guy and we buy most of our supplies from this location all of the people we have delt with have been great.
For the aquatics area, it's terrible, a lot of the fish were sick, and dead fish floating around, and the tanks all looked terrible with algae overtaking. Very disappointed and upset with PetSmart in general since this seems to be a common occurrence in the aquatics area.
