The kittens here up for adoption are sick. They all have what seem to be eye infections along with litter packed into their paws. I called pet smarts customer line as well as the agency to no avail. I’m sharing these pictures to show the condition they have these kittens in. Mind you in the entire time I was in the store not once did anyone check the kittens or refill their food that was empty.
I’m not one to get on here normally, I got my bearded dragon Gizmo from here. However, I saw this poor baby leopard gecko walk up to the front of the display and looked like it was yawning until it started thrashing its head around and puked this up. This photo is a bad angle to show but it was a huge cluster of those dried mealworms they feed the babies and I still don’t understand why. Please keep an eye on the behaviors and conditions of the animals you are buying and maybe consider adopting from a store that properly cares for these baby reptiles.
never had a problem here, came here to get some tags for my dog tho and I think the machine is a little out of the works, it printed one of the tags a bit faded. maybe I just got a bad batch or something tho. the store seems well maintained so I won't complain much. hoping the pets get homes. can't say I really support petsmart's standards behind the scenes though, but it's the closest and most convenient pet store near me.
this was my first time coming to this petsmart& i hope it was just a fluke… the reptile area is not kept up with. the smell over near the reptiles is awful, leopard gecko’s tail is in the process of growing back& it looks infected. also that same leopard geckos eye looks infected. the bearded dragon that was there wasn’t showing any activity besides breathing& if you know bearded dragons, they’re usually pretty active. we bought 2 cleaner fish& 2 mollys. as the lady was getting them out of the tank we noticed that the molly was kinda just limp& by the time we got home it was dead. i hope those poor animals start to get some better care over there, even the gerbil looked like it was going through it
Meh, for $150.00 including a $25 tip I wouldn't think my baby would still have a knot behind his ear. He looks good & smells nice but 4 hours and A HUNDRED AND FIFTY bucks. I expect more.
Took my little girl here for a sweatshirt and I was so happy with the selection and the prices. She is happy with her new hoodie and the side eye confirms it
Helpful staff and friendly. Not so many options at least I experienced that for my dog. Easy parking.
Excellent service. They didn't have my dogs food on the shelf and the cashier was kind enough to go check the stock room. It's was just delivered and she brought me up a bag. She went out of her was awesome.
They took great care of my 20yo little dog when she needed grooming
I took my dog Bella to Petco but decided to try PetSmart in Somers Point to get her nails done, wash and cut. She looked AMAZING!! She is a Shitzu mix and her face hair is always the hardest and I have never had anyone including myself has done as good as they did. They cut and someone else try to keep the dogs calm. Will be back again soon.
