Went out of my way here 1 hr drive for a pickup order because they were the only store that had what I was looking for. When I went the first time, I took my car because I was already out and completely misjudged whether it would fit or not. The guy brought it out, and I quickly realized my error. He was obviously VERY annoyed with me, and when I apologized and told him I would come back with my SUV, he just rolled his eyes and walked away. Did not say a word to me. Went home and got the SUV and my husband. Came back to pick it up, went inside, and explained to a young woman what we needed. SHE was very sweet and helpful. She had a hard time locating our item at first and the older woman on register 1 looked at us and very rudely said "you're the one who came earlier with the car". She pointed it out to the girl, and we left the store. The young girl helped us load, talked to us politely, and was very friendly. A++ for her I wish I would've caught her name, F, for the other two we dealt with.
Disappointed. Looking for strong jaws dog toys that can have treats. Very limited in toys overall. A whole side was toys like rope, stuffed animals or other stuffed figures. Other than Kongs nothing for adding treats. And your orives are always higher than petco but I was willing to spend it. Unfortunately, you did not have anything similar to what I was looking for. I also got batteries for my shock collar. Used to always buy at petco but they no longer sell the collars or batteries bc they're a pet Friendly business. So if pets mart ever stops carrying the batteries. I will no longer have any reason to shop there. TOTALLY unhappy regarding toy choices.
Staff always friendly. It cost me more than quoted today which at first I was irritated at, but I know my dog is a squirming little puppy, so I get... but when I saw how cute she looks...it was all worth it. I told Suzy exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job!!
I had the worst experience with the staff of Petsmart today. Alissa told me to be there by 8:15 and I walked in right at 8:15 and she cancelled me. She did not have the decency to even tell me to my face. The worst customer service ever. I've been taking my dogs here for a while and I will no longer. I will not tolerate lies, poor customer service and disrespect.
Great place. Wife ordered online 2 small bags of dog food. I went to pick up, came home and brought in 2 XXL bags of dog food. I didn't know, I just picked up the order. Nice gift from Petsmart!! Doggies loved it. Thank you Petsmart!
The grooming salon here is great! Suzy has been taking the best care of Thor for almost 2 years now. She does absolutely the best job with him and I would highly recommend her! When I pick him up I am always happy with how things turned out.
Amazing store, especially the pet hotel. They people that work there take such good care of the pets they watch.
If possible, I would provide 0 stars. I made a grooming appointment for my dog. She has been groomed at the East Liberty PetSmart as well as other PetSmart stores in another state prior to when I moved to Pittsburgh. I made the appointment at this store because I needed her groomed by this weekend, and the East Liberty location didn't have any available appointments. In the appointment description, I wrote that my dog takes two types of anxiety medication every day but may still act nervous in her appointment. I include the same note every time I make an appointment. Less than 24 hours before her appointment, I was informed that the store refuses to groom dogs on anxiety medication. I called to clarify that the medication is routine and was not for grooming specifically, but the salon manager informed me that they aren't comfortable grooming dogs on anxiety medication regardless of it is a routine medication. The salon manager flippantly told me to just stop her medication for the day for the appointment. I informed her that for the health of my dog the medication she's on can't be abruptly stopped for the grooming appointment, but that clearly didn't make a difference. I've always made a point to ask her previous groomers how she did with her appointment, and she has never received any complaints or had any prior problems being groomed. She has been on anxiety medication for every appointment. If this is a store policy, it needs to be clearly stated on the website when making an appointment. Less than 24 hours notice leaves me with no options to get her groomed by this weekend. I am highly displeased with this store's discriminatory policy, the very last minute notice, and the attitude of the salon manager. I spoke to the national Customer Care line and was informed that stores should only turn away pets if they are on 1 anxiety medication in particular. She is not on that specific medication. The representative I spoke to also asked if I was given the opportunity to speak to the store manager. When I asked the salon manager if I could speak to anyone else, she said no because she was the salon manager. It's clear she didn't want me to speak with the store manager or provide the grooming service. She was very unprofessional, and I would not trust this location with my pet with her as the salon manager.
Great store for all your pet needs. Friendly staff. You can also take your pets in to shop.
This pet store is large, clean, and well stocked, having a wide variety of both pet and pet products. The isles are a little tight, but not cluttered. Prices are reasonable.
