I go here for occasional bird toys, and pellets for my budgies. I got my first budgie here and he [she, I got a female but didn't quite realize it.] is a wonderful little guy. Pretty healthy and after his flight feathers came in quite a amazing little personality, he did take some time to train but I mostly chose to buy from here because they did have playful, lively birds unlike petco's birds which are often very cold/seemingly sick, considering how there feathers are puffed. The only reason I give 3 stars is this: Petsmart and petco rarely if EVER provide actual real information about pets and they don't always take proper care of there birds or exotic pets at all, even if I took home a healthy bird I was rather lucky in that. And, I bought a cage from here quarentine cage and it was 55$, and its very cheaply made. I found other, more high-quality ones elsewhere. Overall, good for quick runs to get food or toys, but overall its kinda a 50/50 shot, good from things, bad for others. Depends on how aware you are in regards to your animals needs and what you should/shouldnt give them. That said, I won't deny this store gave me my best friend. I will give them credit for that, even if they aren't always the most knowledgeable.
Went there on 6/12 to have my puppy's nails trimmed. He is 10 mths old and since this virus started his nails have grown so they have started to curve. The manager there said since he was not a customer there and they were busy they couldn't do it. So much for "hero's " At least they do not fit the bill. It only takes a few minutes. Guess he will never be a customer there !
Our new puppy is teething. So we wanted to get her some things to chew on and a food station. Most of the things were up front with the dog stuff but had to go on a bit of a safari for the food station. Still, I git everything I had gone there for, so overall, if your pet needs something, it's a good place to go.
The shop is great. The hospital is great. The grooming services are ridiculously bad. I asked for my puppy to be styled for summer, and I selected the cut and all. But the stylist decided to cut him 2 inches lower... such a disappointment. We are not taking him back to this groomer.
I bring my little dog to Petsmart for her grooming on Bald Hill Rd in Warwick, Rhode Island. The groomers there are super friendly and do a great job! I have been bringing my little Aussieton there for 4 years and I am very happy!
We come here for our cats and dogs needs. The grooming salon is excellent and so are the vet services in Banfield. Always a good selection of food, treats, and toys for our fur babies.
It’s the worst experience. They cut my Poopye hair short and look him like an X-ray image and also my puppy is very quiet . Not responding to anything. They hurt my puppy for sure I can tell that. Please be aware of sending your pets over there.
I just had to come out and say something about our experience having our pet groomed. My wife and I have had Pomeranians for the last 35 years and a German shepherd, so we had to take them periodically to get them groomed. We tried just about every groomer around and we were never satisfied with their work. Our last Pomeranian passed away about a year and a half ago, So my daughter gave us a bichon doodle, male,6 years old mid size, to ease the pain of losing our pet. When it came time for him to be groomed my daughter took him to a groomer for us. And wow when I saw him for the first time I couldn't believe my eyes, in my opinion this was the best grooming I've ever seen over the last 40 years on one of our pets. So I made sure I asked my daughter where she took him and wrote it down. So it came time for our pet to be groomed again, so my wife made an appointment with PetSmart on Rt.2 in Warwick and I'm glad she did, she took him to PetSmart and dropped him off and later that day pick him up. I came home from work and when I saw my pet I was so surprised, what a great grooming he had at PetSmart and he knew it, he pranced around like he was the King of the house and didn't hide in any corners like our other pets use to do after coming home from being groomed from other groomers, he just looked great and he was proud of himself. Our groomer was Cass. She is an awesome groomer and definitely has to be an animal lover, to do such a great job on our pet. She is good at what she does. I highly recommend PetSmart of Rt.2 in Warwick ,if you're looking to have your loving pet well taken care of and well groomed make his day, drop he or she off at PetSmart Thank you again PetSmart and Cass for a fabulous job and thank you Cass for awesome grooming. Waited around 10 minutes in the fish department before needing to go to cashier to get help there. Person seemed irritated that I wanted snails. . . Store was clean however but understaffed.
Always purchase cat litter here, kids like to go see the fish and small animals. They have a good variety of cat toys.
