I came in to get my new mailbox keys and mail they have been holding. The employee who helped me was very helpful and friendly. Also, he asked if we had filled out new residence info cards yet for all the names living in the house. He highlighted all the spots I needed to fill out. Nice guy
My regular post office is Calhan. My carriers are awesome. Always friendly, helpful, and down right professional. They take pride in their jobs and how they treat their customers. The Peyton P.O. is exactly the opposite I have stopped using Sunday delivery from Amazon as the peyton post office is the office that does these deliveries and they have never gotten it right. They have delivered to a completely different address a mile away. They have scanned a package delivery attempted but no on home when I was home all day waiting for them. Found out later that they regularly do that without the package ever leaving the facility. The final straw was yesterday the peyton postal vehicle pulled up in front of my door, stopped for a second, and then pulled out. I tried to wave them down but they just took off scanning my package as delivery attempted. I caught them today and asked about it and the carrier said she didn't know where she was or even if she had a package for me. This location is incompetence at its finest.
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Peyton Post office, where packages were consistently lost, and mail was not delivered as expected. This has been an incredibly frustrating and inconvenient ordeal, prompting me to share my feedback. The primary issue I encountered was with packages that were marked as "delivered" according to the postal tracking system, but were nowhere to be found. It is incredibly disheartening to receive notifications stating that a package has been delivered, only to discover it is missing. The lack of reliability and accountability in ensuring accurate delivery information is a significant concern. Furthermore, there were instances where the mail delivery itself was inconsistent and unreliable. Essential mail items were delayed or failed to arrive, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This lack of timely and efficient mail service is deeply disappointing and undermines the trust that should exist in a postal service. Attempts to resolve these issues were met with mixed results. Contacting the local post office yielded limited assistance, with little clarity provided regarding the missing packages or undelivered mail. Communication and transparency were sorely lacking, leaving me feeling frustrated and without any recourse. It is my hope that the Peyton Post office takes these issues seriously and implements necessary measures to improve their service quality. The mishandling of packages and failure to deliver mail on time are matters that require immediate attention and resolution. Enhancing training, refining tracking systems, and ensuring effective communication channels could help alleviate these persistent problems. I strongly urge the Peyton Post office to reevaluate their processes and prioritize customer satisfaction. Reliability, accountability, and effective communication should be the cornerstones of any postal service, and regrettably, they were sorely lacking in this particular experience. I sincerely hope that others do not encounter the same issues I did and that steps are taken to rectify the shortcomings within Peyton Post office. A reliable and efficient postal service is essential for individuals and businesses alike, and it is crucial to restore faith in the service provided.
I had just moved into Peyton from Colorado Springs, and after reading these reviews from the past, the quality of this USPS hasn’t changed. I had over $200 of items from Amazon getting shipped to me. USPS tracking number said it was delivered at my mailbox. Never was, I called and they said it was lost and to contact Amazon for a replacement. Now Amazon did resend it, but who knows if this office will steal, I mean lose, it again? We’ll see. I wish I could choose for my packages to be delivered, from Amazon, by UPS/FedEx…
My grandson received his Birthday card today April 25. His Birthday was March 21st. The card was mailed March 15th. I could have walked from Colorado Springs faster.
THEY decided to start returning my mail without any explanation. Of course junk mail WAS delivered! Other addresses on the street, is in the box! Still not getting all mail. After reading posts, I don't think I will try calling. What happened to just BASIC customer service? Like reading the address on the letter!
The staff inside are usually really cool and proactive. And I get the holidays and lack of staffing is a factor. But that doesn't excuse the fact that I haven't received a piece of mail for 5 days now. And I know it's supposed to be here due to informed delivery. Also whoever is delivering my route is scanning out for delivery, then it sits for 4 to 8 days saying awaiting delivery scan. This has happened with 5 of my packages now. All I'm saying is get someone to shadow the new guy, or if you're going to continually run later and miss the end of the route, Maybe deliver backwards the next day. It's affecting my business at this point, and making missing mail cases doesn't seem to do anything. May just get a po box so I don't have to worry about a "delivery driver" not delivering my mail.
If I could give less stars I would! This place is trash. I wish I could pick post offices. This one needs to be close and everyone working there FIRED! They lost my license plates how does that happen? The dmv doesn't believe me. What do I do?
Quite possible THE worst Post Office I've ever dealt with. They are so archaic & never updated with the times. They lost 2 packages within a 2 month span this year since the mail carriers are incompetent. We always get our neighbors mail. This is so tiring. I'm surprised this place hasn't shut down yet.
Bad experience, THEY NEED TO PAY BETTER CLOSE ATTENTION TO ADDRESSES. Ordered a package that arrived at this facility, and they mistakenly forwarded it to the PO in Manitou, recent tracking updates now tell me my package is in a facility up in Denver. Was given a call from a lady at the Falcon PO who reassured me it would be sent to a local one, and then on to her. What I don’t understand is how you can be so negligent to clearly see what zip code is listed on pieces of mail, and then just completely send it off to a random one in the area! Do better people!
