My experience with Chris Hilling has always been pleasant. He is quick to respond and very thorough in his explanation of how my policy works. I appreciate the time he takes with me and would highly recommend him as an agent.

I recently switched auto and renters insurance with Hilling. His service is absolutely outstanding. He came highly recommended from my family. Hilling was able to get me more than a fair quote but a GREAT deal compared to other providers with even more coverage than I expected. Not only that but the amount of attention he gave to me over a few days time felt very good compared to other companies. I felt like I was his number 1 priority getting me set up for almost a week with all the new stuff I was doing. He made it a very enjoyable experience, was super patient and super understanding the whole way through.  If you're reading this and looking for an agent that is going to make you feel like a valued customer, you absolutely found the right guy.

I had my business insurance with Erie for many, many years. In 2020 another company Federated quoted me more coverage, and better coverage, for $6000 less per year. I was a little surprised that I was paying so much more for the insurance through Erie, especially since I had been with them for so many years. I obviously switched to Federated but I did leave my bond with Erie they were cheaper on this one. Two and a half years later I just received notice from Erie that they aren't renewing my bond any longer. I called them to ask why and find out some details...they said that since I switched my insurance to another company they don't want to continue writing the bond for me.  The reason for the 1-star review is two-fold: the fact that they are overpriced on their insurance bothers me, but also that their business model is to push away business instead of trying to be competitive. This one is a head-scratcher for me!

Friendly staff, they help with everything, but you’ll never get discount in your bill even if you have a clean record and no accidents!! And soon you get in Accident, boom your bill is $30 high!!
