I have traveled a lot and lived in many different states/cities. So, I have visited multiple dermatologists over the years in different regions. Although I have had many great experiences with doctors, dermatologists are my least favorite specialist. In fact, I dread having to visit them because somehow, for me, they seem to not validate my concerns as a patient. I always leave the visit feeling like they have been dismissive towards me. I didn't feel that way on my first visit for my infant son today. I felt my concerns were heard and a resolution and escalation point, should it be required was reached. I had a great experience and even asked if Diana Reyes also sees adults because I would like to visit her for my skincare needs as well. I will be relocating to San Antonio next month but will happily drive 1.5 hours to see this doctor should the need arise. Thank you for listening to me as a patient!
Dr Gewirtzman was very nice, friendly, and understanding. He has help me feel very comfortable of little pain and thorough, and took all the time necessary to answer my questions. His staff was great as well. I felt right at home!
Every time I visit Sanova the doctors and assistants are always so friendly and approachable! They are kind and easy to talk to. I never feel nervous to share my concerns. They are extremely knowledgeable and are quick to find solutions! I love Sanova!
Dr Lain and the entire staff is wonderful! He treated me through a very bad reaction to l poison ivy. I saw several other doctors beforehand and finally got the right treatment after I saw him. He is very knowledgeable and practical with his advice. Thank you so much.
Dr Lain has been doing my Botox and filler for a number of years. He takes time to discuss the procedure and look you are hoping to achieve. The staff at are pleasant and very accommodating in helping my husband and I get appointments at similar times since we drive from downtown Austin. That’s how much we like Dr Lain and his staff!
I always feel well taken care of in Dr Lain’s office. The front desk, the medical assistant and the check out people are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Lain is always on time and I never feel rushed. Sanova Pflugerville has a great office and great staff.
While Dr. Lain is extremely delightful - as are all the employees & assistants, you might get irritated with the signin process, where ?s are duplicated 5 times! Otherwise, you will have a great time as Dr. Lain takes care of small things on the spot and nothing seems too big that he cannot solve. His assistants smile a lot and can't stop praising how nice it is to work at Sanova! Thx Doc - can't wait to see all of you again! M$W
Always have a positive experience going to Sanova Dermatology. Staff is helpful making you feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Lain is friendly answers any questions you have which makes your visit easier.
Today was my first visit to Sanova Dermatology - Pflugerville. I walked into a nice and friendly waiting room, was helped quickly by friendly office staff, checked in easily using an iPad, and only had to wait a few minutes before I was taken to a nice examination room, met with an assistant PA for another few minutes before the PA came in, examined area of concern, quickly dismissed it as nothing serious, gave me a few options, and then sent me on my way. Whole time at SD was less than 30 minutes. Super pleased with the experience!
Upon arrival, the front desk team was not welcoming. She told me that everyone is on lunch until 1p. Well then why have appointments starting at 1p? I checked in and all was good. I actually got called back right at 1p so that was nice. The tech, Daniella, was nice. She took notes and had me change for Dr. Lain. He opened the door before knocking, which was weird but I was already in my gown. He did a full skin check and found a couple things, nothing to be concerned about. He didn't ask me if I had concerns. When he mentioned I need to use sunscreen I asked him how SunBum was and he said "okay." He didn't offer any other suggestions, just said "okay." On the prescreening form I had mentioned I wanted to talk about spider veins and excess sweating and he never asked me about them. Just wrapped up, shook my hand, and walked out. All in all he was in the room for 5-6 minutes. I will probably stay with Sanova and find a different doctor as the facility comes highly recommend, but I was not impressed with the front desk or Dr. Lain.
