We live in the desert part time and just took up golf again as we enter retirement and words cannot express how much we love this store. From beginners to pros, it has something for everyone from apparel, clubs, even practice bays. The #1 reason we love this store so much is their customer service, particular from their manager, Anthony. He is a gem because he is the epitome of showing you what a VIP golfer experience should be. He is extremely helpful, patient, kind and will make sure every single person in that store is taken care of from where to find certain items to setting you up in the practice bays. We have visited twice just this week and Anthony has made it such a point to go out of his way to take care of us and introduce our family and friends of all this stores offerings, even golf lessons which our friends were so excited to learn more! If you need anything golf related, visiting this store is a must stop for both locals and vacationers alike!
Worst service you could ever imagine. I wanted to try a shaft from their “Studio” department. I did not have an appointment, however, the Studio bay was open since a fitting was just finished. They did not want to help me because I did not have an appointment, even though the bay was open and I only needed few minutes to compare my driver shaft with the one I wanted to buy. In the past few years I don’t know how many thousand of dollars I spent there. Not any more! I walked out, went across the street to Club Champion and, what was impossible at PGA Superstore, was completed in 10 minutes. Bye bye PGA Superstore…

I sent an email to the PGA customer service account 5 days ago and received no response. I am sharing it here, minus names: I just tried to submit this via your website. I am not sure it went through so am copying it here: Hi, I would like this message to be forwarded to the general manager at the Palm Desert store. My husband DN and I each just finished a series of 6 lessons each with JH. During the lessons, JH talked a lot about himself so I know about his ex-wife, his adult children, his father’s drinking issues, his past and current health problems, his high school athletic days, his pro golf career, his lack of money, and his golf skills. Although it was all quite a bit more than I needed or wanted to know, I kept with the lessons. Things took a turn that was, however, unacceptable. During my 5th lesson, he mentioned that he really liked talking to me. During my final lesson, he seemed very frustrated that I had regressed these lessons were my first time ever trying to play golf. At one point mid-lesson, I hit a decent ball and joked that perhaps it was time to quit. He said, seemingly jokingly, that we could go for a drink. Then, more seriously, he said that he didn’t usually drink, but that he’d have a cocktail with me. I was stunned, and I just kept hitting the ball. As soon as my lesson was over, I quickly left. His actions seem particularly stunning, given the fact that my husband had just had a lesson with him. Also, I am a retired Communication professor with 30 years of teaching experience, well-versed in both teaching approaches and appropriate student-teacher interactions.
I had a great experience here. Their customer service is very special. Mike was very friendly and helped me find the best clubs for me. This is one of the best golf store I’ve ever been. and best staff. He goes out of his way to help people in the store. Thanks again to Mike and team at this store. Highly recommended and you definitely can find everything you want.
I always stop here when I’m in the valley. Here in Hawaii the best golf store would prolly fit in the putting area so it’s nice to see what we miss out on. Sooooooo much to look at. You can easily spend an hour here.
I used to be very impressed with this store. I was in there today and was trying out some clubs and placed my purse on the chair and after trying many clubs got distracted and walk away from it. It was returned to the check out but the $1300 cash and power ball ticket out of my purse was missing. We live a good hour away from the store and I have been trying to call the store all afternoon to see if they have cameras or know who handed in my purse but they won’t answer the phone. They say they close at 7 and I have been calling since 2:00 and the recording is telling me I am Calling outside of business hours. Not impressed.
I'm left handed and the selection of left handed clubs usually mirrors the selection of left handed anything. Very pleased that I could find a left handed child's putter for my left handed son. When us lefty's rise up and overthrow the right power that be, we'll make sure there's a righty putter for your son. Or maybe we won't. I could see us saying "screw you, we've suffered and now you will too." We are a bit vengeful like that. Sorry in advance.
Staff is great. Very patient in allowing you to test clubs in the bays. They will actually conduct a club fitting at no cost to help you find the right clubs. Pricing and return policy on clubs is very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!
Super big and fun store! Hopefully my golf lesson will be good
