I just went there for the first time the other day. While you can always afford to have more space, it's pretty roomy for a spot in the city. The guys behind the front counter and nice, and the stage is actually pretty cool. Yeah, definitely check it out when there's a show going on. It would have been great to have a little more space for instruments and cases, I brought my base and I had to just put my gig bag on a couch when I went up to play, but they make it feel very homey. If your one who tends to use ear plugs, bring them, but otherwise order a drink and some food, and have a good time.
Great place, doing great things in Point Breeze. Support independent businesses like this, and check out one of their many shows.
this place is THE BEST, great coffee, great live music, great people, great gazpacho. really a special, unique, down to earth place and when you walk in you instantly feel like part of a community
great atmosphere& venue!! would recommend
Such a hidden gem in the Philadelphia Point Breeze neighborhood. I ordered a cappuccino and it was so delicious! This my first and only time and won’t be my last. Unfortunately, the pandemic is happening so I’m not sure when I’ll be back. Oh! Before I forgot to mention, their staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this café.
Saw a hardcore show here, it’s a cool idea for a venue. BYOB intimate venue but it’s so narrow and there is a bunch of junk crowding an already tight spot. If they knocked down the wall separating the 2 rooms it would be perfect. I can’t speak on the coffee or food
Small space but good food vegan options! and a great owner. Very welcoming and NOT A CHAIN, which is really important to us. We'll definitely be back!
First of all it smelled like pee on the corner. I should have known when I first walked in to keep moving, but I wanted to try nice spots in my neighborhood. I ordered a cappuccino and it tasted horrible and looked like a latte. Tasted like gas station coffee. When I pored it out in the sink it was all of this black stuff at the bottom. The place has nice boho vibes but I wouldn't go back.
This is a hidden gem! I ate lunch and did some work here today. The owner, Johnny J., was friendly, gracious, and knowledgeable. He has vegan options and the waffles are DELICIOUS!
This place really needs some TLC. I’m disappointed in how they carry themselves. I mean it should be taken a bit more seriously to own a business. I gave it 3 stars because I don’t want to ruin their rating but I will definitely not patronize here again. I’m speaking to my experience here as a patron and not a “concert goer.”
