Natalie was very professional and gentle! She provided very useful information that she noticed about my hair. The recommendations were easy to understand and implement. My hair feels very light, bouncy, and healthy after the wash, style, and cut. I will be coming back to see her very soon!
I have supported the school over the years but this would be the straw that broke the camel’s back. I asked for caramel babylights and got chunky pinky violet highlights instead. I understand that they are students but violet pink is no where on the same spectrum with caramel. My teenage daughter called me Scene Queen when she saw my hair. The phase 2 student who worked on me had no idea if she should use permanent or semi permanent color to tone my highlights. No matter how bad they screw up, the school will still demand payment. The worst part is that I sat in that chair for 6 hours and paid 70 dollars for them to messed with my hair. I walked out of there feeling like I just got robbed: Caveat emptor!
I used the yelp appointment feature and a phone call to make an appointment to fix my roots. I made a series of bad choices regarding bleaching and box dyes sigh. So I thought I could remedy the situation by getting my roots bleached. When I arrived I was seen promptly. The teacher and students listened to my hair background story, closely examined my hair, and then told me they couldn’t bleach it because it was breaking and it wouldn’t really remedy the situation. The teacher then brought over a manager I think. She had very bright green hair who explained in more depth and said it would be a liability to bleach my hair. Ultimately, I walked away without any services, but the five stars are for the care they spent in understanding my hair and educating me about hair color. I really appreciated their professionalism and honesty. I would trust them with my hair decisions and other services because they really want to make sure that even though students are working on your hair, you walk away satisfied. And for me, that meant not risking further damage. The front desk workers were also very kind, and they helped me schedule a deep conditioning. I’m not sure what I’ll do about my hair, but in the future I’ll return here for haircuts and maybe way in the future, hair coloring
I enjoyed all the students and staff. I was there for drag makeup for a Halloween party. It was fun. The 3 students that “pitched “ in to work on me were amazing. They would talk about different techniques and blending together. Each had their own style but worked beautifully together!!!! Thank you for allowing these great students to work on me. ALYSSA BAILEY AND ALEX !!!! They are going to do great things !!!!
My visit went very well! I was greeted at the door by Debbie who was very engaging and welcoming. I was then seen for my haircut by Angel who did an amazing job giving me texture to the top of my hair as well as telling me what techniques he’s using and how to style it. Debbie also helped out by refining the cut, specifically the fade on the sides and back all while teaching Angel. I will definitely go back, hopefully before Angel graduates!
I absolutely love the quality of hair cut and dyes the school provides. I've been going for a couple of years now. Most recently with April who is great. But it is just IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment. I left no less than 7 phone messages and even got through to admissions who promised to walk to the service desk and give them my name and number to schedule a visit. NOTHING. I'd love to come back but there is no one that actually answers the phone--you ALWAYS have to leave a message. And then no one calls you back. So, they lost my business for my last cut and color as I had to go to another shop. I'd love to come back but I'm at a loss as to how to get someone to make an appointment for me.
The salon is very large and open. The staff who was going to work on my hair was exceptional! She was pleasant in that she explained every detail of my service. She offered me water and was just very polite! My color treatment was beautiful! I love it!
I asked for a trim and Krystal cut a foot off of my hair not joking.. went home and had a mental break down. Not to mention there was one long piece of hair left. Ive never had such a bad haircut. Not to be mean but I told her how scared I already was to cut my hair, as I have grown it out for so long... and now I've never felt so ugly.
My future professional, Kailey, was great! We were debating a change in hair color and after consulting with Kailey and her advisor Onya we decide on a color that I couldn’t be happier with. My hair is so pretty and silky! I can’t keep my hands out of it. Thank you Kailey for making me excited again and not leave my hair in a bun!
