One of the best places to get Pork Ribs, A must visit in San Diego. We got the full rack pork ribs with Macaroni Salad and Coleslaw. It was goooood. The meat was soft and tender, and their bbq sauce is one of a kind. The staff was welcoming, and the manager was kind enough to give us extra coleslaw on the house! Definitely recommended, and I will visit again soon.

You really cannot beat Happy hour at Phil's BBQ. Beer pints for $5, a person could get used to that! And the food, very good. Not every day, though; we have to balance our nutrition with kale smoothies and Cobb salads, but once in a while, go ahead and treat yourself!Food: 5/5

So good. If you like BBQ go now. They have MLB so watched some Padre baseball while eating.

Pretty good bbq place. Busy as well. Got the beef and chicken combo, full pork rack and half chicken meal. All were well cooked and seasoned. Only complaint was they gave me only 1 3oz container of bbq sauce for 3 dinner boxes and and large side of fries.

We were turned on to Phil’s about 4 years ago I think. Every time it’s always been the same, great service, food always consistent and great! We always order the ribs, fries and coleslaw. We visit every time we come to San Diego, one of stops besides old town restaurants.Food: 4/5

Absolutely delicious!  Lasted for lunch. I would say to Phil's to make bigger side portions for a full rack of ribs, please.  Anyway, go there and get them!Food: 5/5

To be honest the ribs were very expensive didn't realize what I was ordering they were so huge. But not the less they was very tender very tasty. Moneywell spent! They get a 10 on my scale!!! An I gave a giant  Appetite.  But irregardless of my appetite the food must taste very good seasoned and tinder and it was all that. I will serve with the smile the people seem to be extremely polite. And I appreciate the dining Inn with my family from out of town everybody enjoyed the food no complaints. I wish I had ordered the beef ribs, because those looked so good. I just ordered some sides of meat. I got the shaved brisket not certain it's called that and two orders of the pulled pork because I thought the sides were going to be small. I was wrong. This place is not stingy with its serving size. I almost filled up on the brisket alone. Not a fan of the sauce that was served. That's just personal preference though. The pork was fine. It wasn't very fatty, so it was kind of difficult to swallow. I'm a believer in fat equals flavor. It was great reheated later in more fat.

Fairly empty place on a Monday afternoon.  Informative manager, attentive service, great food and not too long of a wait for the food.  Beef ribs are my favorite. Not as tender as past visits. Fountain drinks seemed a bit watered down or low on gas.  Features: No mask bull5h!+
