Fantastic White Coat Ceremony last Friday PCOM! Meaningful, insightful, and fun. Congratulations to Henry Barsh, M.S., PCOM D.O. Class of 2028, above with his grandfather, Dr. Horace Barsh, PCOM Class of 1961. If Henry practices until he’s 63, the two of them will have provided medical services for a century. Love PCOM!
PLEASE READ: Went here to get my shoulder looked at as I thought I had a tear. Was told that I was completely fine and just needed some rest and PT possibly. Went to another doctor 3 days later at a different company who scheduled an MRI. Long story short, I am not OK and have a tear In my shoulder. Edit: After surgery I was told that not only was it torn but it was completely not rehab able.
We visited the campus today for tour but we were running 15mins late. The receptionist told us someone was coming to assist us to join the group. But when she arrived and saw our color she didn’t even listen to us or where we were coming from or why we were running late! She dismissed us like a candle! She told us we were late and we should book for another day! This was very humiliating and wasn’t a good experience for a parent who’s looking forward to her child attending the school!

I called yesterday for an appointment and spoke with Fatima Daniels the office manager at PCOM Family Medicine. I stated I was not feeling well and she made me an appointment for the next day. First a student saw me asked questions and checked me. He stated what he think was wrong and went to get Dr. Veit. Dr. Veit came into the room in less than 1 minute. Dr.Veit came in asked a few questions checked me and was very thorough with communicating my issues. I never had a doctor that detailed it made my experience pleasant. To top it off the office manager Fatima called to check on me to see how my appointment went. The service was over and beyond. Fatima also checked to make sure my prescription was sent to the correct pharmacy. I appreciate the great service.
Very kind and friendly staff organized, neat and the environment is comfortable
I can not say enough about how helpful the staff at PCOM have been. Specifically Michelle Turrentine. She has assisted me with obtaining referrals, lab slips, and other documents for my consumers. She is an integral part of the team at PCOM, and a huge contributor to providing quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
