Horrible, misleading menu, ordered large country bowl but was not informed crabs doesn’t come with it, just potatoes, corn, and shrimp. Shrimp was UNCLEANED AND BLAND. We had to put our own seasoning to enjoy. Would not recommend and will not go back.
First time eating from here. Really wanted some crab cakes. I was so disappointed! They were overly seasoned and as you can see burned.
Food was Great!! My fish was fried perfectly and Emmy crab legs were seasoned and cooked to perfection! Will go back again.
Really not happy , I bought 7lbs of snow crab plus the $25 tray with corn , potatoes, sausage and shrimp. Everything was extremely over cook . The snow crabs was small plus the shells was extremely soft , in the other tray the potatoes was so soft and the shrimp . The small tray was more of a mash potatoes tray . $175 not pleased.. the 3 orders of onion rings was ok Edit after reading the owner review: the oven was not on it was place in the oven until the table was set up . So come again . I will not be supporting your business as you just tried to make it my fought for the over cooked food .
My significant other wanted me to try their fried catfish and I did. I got the fried catfish, okra and hush puppies. The only thing that I enjoyed was the fried okra. This was my first and last time going to them.
I called and placed an order figuring the website prices were sound. I got three meals and expected about $50. When I got to the shop they presented me with a $73 bill. When I protested and said that wasn't what was on the website. They said that site is old. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the cost.
Priced just right....definitely worth every dollar...clean and although it's a business that sells fish-I love the fact that it doesn't smell like fish. I ALWAYS get the fish..grits I have also eaten the cold slaw..it's so so good that sometimes im afraid I will get a bone stuck in my throat, because I eat every bite..lol
If you are looking for a non-chain, small town, South Georgia experience, you MUST try Phillip's Seafood! A small, but extremely popular, eat in or takeout restaurant. Its the best place for fresh seafood. You can get it fresh/raw or cooked to order. The selection is what's available from the daily catch, but includes tilapia, whiting, catfish, grouper, snapper, shrimp, crab, alligator, etc. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely worth your while to stop in and try.
Customer service was good and the young lady was friendly and nice. It was the food itself. I ordered a fish sandwich and a side of fries for almost $10. Not a big deal; however, the fish wasn't fried hard like I asked and it didn't have any seasoning on it...pretty bland.
Hands down the best fish place in town. The food is seasoned to perfection, and prepared to your liking. The staff is friendly and go the extra mile to ensure that customers are taking care of.
