My friends and I really enjoyed this place. I got the Pho Ga which was awesome. Be warned, the chili oil is authentic and no joke. I’m used to flavorless chili oil so I added to scoops and realized quickly I only needed 1, or even half of one. Luckily the limes were there to tone down the spiciness. Service was quick. The atmosphere was quaint and really cute. There is 2 hour meter parking out front, otherwise parking can get a little tricky if you’re not familiar with the area. This was my first time having Pho and it was a really great experience. I’ll definitely be back! Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level
Simply the best Vietnamese in the area…and, maybe, all of Philly. Vincent and his crew are wonderful, including his sister Nok. They take pride in the food that they serve and it shows. No short cuts. The pho is the best, but make sure you try other dishes. Definitely the grilled pork chops with broken rice. And the Bo Luc Lac #119: NY Strip cubes sautéed in butter with onions…served with fresh vegetables, rice, and lime/salt/pepper sauce. Out of this world. Oh, and make sure to get a fresh lemonade it’s actually lime, though, and you’ll be thankful it is…so refreshing. Introduce yourself to Vincent or his gracious wife if she’s there at the front counter. Great people running a small business serving incredible, authentic food.
I love this place. Warm, friendly family, always helpful and patient as I like to get settled in lol. Dining in or taking out my food quality is the same. You receive complimentary Tea while dining in. When I order over the phone they’re very helpful while trying to explain what I want. Rice Noodle w/ shrimp is my favorite. The shrimp are never over cooked they are always peeled, deveined and fresh.
I like eating at this place it is nice and the food I usually get to bring home is good. However last time I went, I found a couple hairs in my food and so did my brother. His were cooked into his egg and mine were just in my rice. This was just a one off from what I saw but I hope next time they be careful.Food: 2/5
Best pho around! This was our first time here and we won’t go anywhere else for pho after ordering from Pho & Cafe Anh Hong! I had very nice service from the staff today, too!Food: 5/5
Best Pho in the area. There used to be good restaurants for Pho in South Philly but after the pandemic things changed a lot. So good to find the authentic Pho at this restaurant.Food: 5/5
The chicken pho was hot and delicious! These guys are the real deal plus they’re open early.
This place never changes.. One of the few Vietnamese places that can actually call their Thit Nuong "Charbroiled." After 10 years, still our go-to.Food: 5/5
The best authentic Vietnamese food. Zero pretention. Just great foodFood: 5/5
This authentic vietnamese restaurant has been around for decades and is strictly family owned and operated. This is hands down the best food in all of Philly period!
