Formerly Aatish( a Pakistani & Indian restaurant), Pho Ellie is being kept halal - a rare Vietnamese halal restaurant in the Orange County area. Besides the most popular Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup), customers can taste the sizzling grilled cube steak or cornish hen half chicken rice plate, the slow-cooked beef stew on noodle or dipping with daily fresh French bread, the delicious shrimp and egg roll in vermicelli, the house special egg rolls or made-to-order spring rolls ...and of course our famous Vietnamese iced coffee.

Pho Ellie is a halal Vietnamese place that serves authentic and delicious staple foods such as Bhan-Mi, Pho, and egg rolls. The Pho broth is amazing as it is cooked for a long time. The quality of the brisket they use is of superior quality and melts in your mouth. The Bahn-Mi bread is a must! The place is small but very clean. The best part is the couple who run it, they’re extremely friendly. Pricing is very reasonable and they have combo menus.
Definitely not the pho you'd want to go to being in LA. The soup was alright, but they didn't have many of the usual ingredient choices you'd get at many other places. They also messed up our order and took much longer than expected with little to no clients inside.
Love this place, especially on cold rainy days. Service is good, food is tasteful and portions are just right.
My first time there with my boyfriend and i loved it. This plate was delicious. You have to try it when you go. Rice with tilapia, onion and red bell pepers!
Had the Pho with rare steak and brisket. Well it came to my table well done and the Pho had little to no taste. The broth taste like Luke warm water with no seasoning. Only saw the waitress which was an older Asian lady whom I think is the owner twice, once for my food and once to give me the bill. Never will I go here again.
Found this by accident on my drive, and it was completely more than I had anticipated. It is an intimate space, the staff are amazingly helpful, and their food is exceptional. Primarily went for the pho but ended getting spicy chicken too--that was just bold and vibrant. Worth stopping by.
Pho Eli is one of the areas hidden gems. Their baguette is off the chain and the pho is soothing. But it’s the owners who make this place. Their hospitality and character make this place a real winner. I love coming here and being greeted by their warm smile. And of course the food is superb.
I have been eating here for over two years now. Great food and the prices are fair. I try new things off the menu, but always wind up with the Ellie combo #1 Pho and sandwich. I highly recommend this place.
Best Pho I've ever had, and I've had the best nyc, Boston and Denver have to offer. It's medium sized and unassuming because it's in an industrial area but it's incredible. We had rare steak and brisket pho, small. It was a great portion size for one person and the flavor was all there. Add it to your bucket list, throw in some jasmine iced tea.
Philly Cheese steak be warned... Ellie's beef Banh Mi @ with veggies will make your mouth really happy. Of course no cheese but flavoring easily covers. Wow Delicious $5.55 a good deal Trump 2020
