It was an hour drive for me to take my art deco lamp that came apart at the welds. I met four employees and all of them were friendly, helpful, gracious and knowledgeable. They decided to fix it while I was there so I would not have make the 2 hour drive to return to pick it up. Perfect repair at a reasonable cost and Daniel was nice eye candy, to boot! They knew exactly what needed to be done and the best way to do it. Highly recommend!
Re-wired an older slag glass light fixture for me. They did an excellent job turning it into a useable fixture again. It's now hanging up in the dining area.
I brought my lamp here to be fixed. The man helping me was very condescending and did not seem to understand how it worked at all. I had to explain to him how it all went together. I told them that it used a harp and brought in the pieces I had. They did not replace the saddle, which holds the harp and the shade. I didn’t want to be bothered to go back to them to have it fixed and instead just bought a clip-on harp….
Beautiful, genuine antique items. Price range varies from fair to overpriced, depending on the item. Most of the staff is pleasant. One woman behind the counter is very rough around the edges and can come off as flat-out rude. Of the three times I have been there, she seems to always be the one with a chip on her shoulder, complaining about something. If her rude attitude is the same the next time I go, it will be my last visit.
What a fantastic antique store! They are extremely knowledgeable and also run a lamp repair business. We found some great paintings and Knick-knacks there, and can’t wait to stop by again to see new inventory. Highly recommend whether you are looking for home furnishing items or a fun afternoon to scout through some cool vintage products.
I had been looking for a part for my dressing table lights for a VERY long time. The gentleman there that repairs lamps just bent over backwards to help me!!!! I cannot tell you how grateful I was! Also, the antique/lamp store was really really Awesome with so many incredible items. This is truly a unique shop to check out. I really recommend it.
The owner/ people up front were super nice and helpful, and found me a finial for an unconventional thread on my lamp. Store has a lovely unique atmosphere and tons of cool old trinkets and objects to see. They have good knowledge of antiques and I would totally recommend :
I had a vintage reading lamp from a camper trailer im restoring rewired and they did a fabulous job. They even went above and beyond as they included the missing mounting bracket and screws for lamp making it easy for me to bolt on. Maybe a little pricey for your average lamp but if its vintage or has sentimental value this is the place for it. every penny spent is worth the customer service and workmanship that goes into your lamp.
I will start with the positive; they fixed the switch on my lamp and it looks/performs well. Everything leading up to that was poor customer service. When I dropped the lamp off I was quoted $40. It took them over 4 weeks to repair the switch and the only reason it did get fixed after 4 weeks was due to me calling for status checks that 4th week. When I came to pick it up they charged me $175. I did not receive a phone call prior to them fixing it and offering an updated estimate. Had I known it would have costed $175 to fix a lamp switch from the start I would have purchased a new lamp. Lastly, when I inquired about the charges, I was informed that labor costs $75 per hour; therefore $40 was never a realistic estimate as $75 plus parts would be the starting point. Very disappointed in the communication and customer service.
Thank you for your great customer service helping me buy replacement shades for two vintage lamps I brought into your store. I let you know I needed extra help selecting the shades and was given prompt attention. Prices were fair and extra care and help were given me when I had a question about a third lamp I have. Highly recommend!!
