The Phoenix is Bemidji State University’s organization for LGBTQIA2S+ people and their allies. All people are welcome! We encourage everyone to come! The Phoenix hosts a range of social and awareness events in order to promote equality and understanding on campus and in the community.

As BSU's organization for LGBTQIA2S+ people and their allies, The Phoenix strives for acceptance, equality, and awareness among students, faculty, and community members for people of any sexual orientation, romantic orientation, or gender identity. We are at BSU to advocate for a safe and accepting environment by providing support and resources to those who need them, as well as offering educational opportunities to those that wish to learn more about the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
