This is a perfect venue for a national convention such as the National Recreation and Park Association annual conference I recently attended for five days. Over 6,500 fellow professionals were in attendance. We used many of the individual meeting rooms for educational sessions and the Ballroom was large for all of us to attend the keynote sessions. The architecture is inviting and best of all, the entire facility was cool and comfortable with the 100+ degree temperatures outside.
I absolutely enjoy when they have large events take place at this convention center. A couple examples would be some of the car shows and not to mention Phoenix Fan Fusion! It’s very clean and the architecture is modern. Also the amount of space makes it feel more open and even larger especially for events. It’s also conveniently located downtown where there are plenty of other places to visit as well.
As it is a convention center it naturally is not a joyful place since the space is large and they are usually cold no matter what time of year. The facility is actually nice, but their was certainly some disorganization since they were not prepared for our first major task during our conference. Otherwise the chairs were far more comfortable than other convention centers and the food court was open and the food was really not bad.
Beautiful modern architecture. Cafes inside, tons of meeting space, and tables outside. Perfect for enjoying the gentle warmth of Arizona in the early morning, before it turns deadly harsh later in the day. Enjoying my remote working outside, looking at the palm trees and soaking up the sun. My body is looking forward to the vitamin D.
Getting earlier to the event is the key. Lots of vehicles to see and ride, if you wish. The highlights were on the EV vehicles. The most popular vehicles were present and sought by the attendees. All in all, the event was excellent!
The Game On Expo was a blast!! The people there were awesome. I'm not too familiar with the scene or the event , only hearing about it here and there, but had a blast anyway. Took my nephew because he's a huge fan of the anime "Sword Art Online". We actually found a replica of the sword he likes too , at a great price, fro an honest vendor. My girlfriend, who is disabled, also LOVES ANIME, as she can't get out much, so watches alot on streaming services. We got her an incredible 3-D poster she adores. That vendor was also honest and fair priced. Honestly, the majority of the experience was great. From the people dressing up, to the fun atmosphere and unique variety of goods. We spent a lot of money. One particular vendor though apparently saw my disabled girlfriend as an easy target though and charged her nearly double for an item purchased. "JUSHIBIRD" Crafts? Something like that. Had a booth set up. One of those squares to accept debit. Only they apparently charge your card whatever they feel they can get away with and target people with disabilities. "JUSHIBIRD", should not be allowed to operate at such a great community event. The rest of y'all are AMAZING. We had a blast. I attached a pic of the shady vendors ad and item purchased. Just so people know to pay cash if doing business with them.
Easy to navigate and plenty of room for multiple functions. Conveniently located near the 3rd and Washington Metro Valley light rail station.
Came for the Imperious Cannabis expo and have zero complaints as far as the layout inside the building and amenities where in. I don’t know if the security was hired by the event or the convention center but those dude and gals were the best in the business.
One of the biggest complexes I've ever seen! Huge convention centre but easy to navigate and is kept incredibly clean. Highly recommend for any conference!
Great place for events! I had an spectacular time for a Leadership Meeting with my team.
