Had 2 kidney stones, 3mm & 8mm. Since Oct. I have had pain and pp issues. ER found them Dr. Nowfar removed them last wk. The doctor was amazing, the staff at his office was WONDERFUL, even under tons of stress. The staff at Physicians' Sur. Cntr was GREAT. The were super busy, even at 9am. They were VERY nice and the girl that did my IV didn't even leave a bruise!. Warm blankets, and lots of attention to explain everything. The surgery team was VERY nice, came in several times to talk to me. Recovery was amazing as well. They went slow when I needed them to and they were VERY aware of my inner ear issues and we had a few good laughs at my jokes. LOL They were wonderful. I felt VERY safe and reassured by the professionalism AND the humor we shared. They don't rush you out or make you feel like you're in the way like other cntr's I've been to. Thank you Dr.Nowfar, office staff and SURGERY CNTR NURSES & staff!!
As another reviewer stated before, they will do all they can to get more money out of you. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I had a vasectomy that should only of been $70 but I was charged as out of network and the bill went up to $700. My doctor called them to fix it and they agreed not to charge me, BUT THEY STILL SENT MY BILL TO COLLECTIONS. Do not trust this facility and get everything in writing. Make sure you speak with your insurance to see what they cover.
I had gallbladder surgery there 3 days ago, and they were the nicest staff ever. Theh did everything in there power to reassure me that the surgery was going to go well I have panic attacks, they checked one me constantly before the surgery and the surgeon introduced himself to me prior to the surgery. They took good care of me before and after the surgery. Would highly recommend this place for surgeries. Thank you to the nurses and staff for caring about your patients.
The reviews praising the staff do not make up for their billing practices. They hound you for every dollar that they can get from you. Even after they agree to fix the bill and settle it, they turn around and charge you again for price they just agreed not to charge. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I had surgery to remove a stuck kidney stone in my urethra that blocked my kidney. The staff, the nurses, the doctor's are absolutely the BEST. They were all so kind and compassionate to my every need. They comforted me at my worst and I couldn't have chosen a better place to go. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of surgery with care and compassion, and great support!
I had I surgery there a couple of weeks ago and another one early tomorrow morning. I’m looking forward to it because the people there are so kind, considerate and professional. The place is clean and as comfortable as possible for a surgery center. The nurses are great! And Dr. Choi is excellent!
A modern facility. Clean with a caring and professional staff. Going in, I KNEW it's not the "Ritz Hotel" so I wasn't expecting 5 start room service and a catering to my every whim "I'd liked a tasty cheese roll from Portal's Bakery across the street please", but on professional and competent level, there are no complaints. The reception area is clean and comfortable. While in the examination waiting room prior to my procedure, two different nurses made sure that I was comfortable. Their kind demeanor helped me relax and not worry about an unexpected delay in my scheduled exam time. The nurse who attend to me after I woke up from the general anesthesia, were courteous, helpful, and friendly. My discharge went smoothly with the discharging nurse being sure to inform about the what to expect next and reviewing my post-exam care procedure. Overall, 5 stars with a definite "thumbs up!" recommendation.
The nurses, all the staff from the surgical team to the RN’s were incredibly accommodating & sincere. They made a stressful situation much more calming due to their attitudes & soft ways of speaking to their patients. I highly recommend this Surgical Center to anyone who needs epidurals, or other Day procedures. You are given all rules & regulations to follow when you go home & they tell your family member the same things written on your exit papers. I strongly recommend this Physicians Surgery Center for your health & sense of well-being.
There are A LOT of private surgical centers out there and I highly recommend that you go to one of them. After repeated conversations I have yet to speak with anyone who is even remotely polite. They act like speaking to patients is beneath them. THEY WILL CHARGE EVERY CENT THEY CAN LEGALLY GET AWAY WITH. I am all about the free market, but they take it to a whole new level. They WILL charge you your full remaining annual deductible. However they won’t tell you that until less than a week before your surgery. So you can shell out thousands to them or cancel your surgery at the last minute, send insurance approval requests again, arrange for medical leave from work again, and go through all of the other hassle and emotional distress leading up to surgery AGAIN. They will try to charge you as out of network. Even when your insurance company tells them they are in network, they will insist that they are not. Take your business anywhere else but here. If they are not competent to figure out what networks they are in, do you really want to trust that they are competent to operate on you?
As an RN, I found them to be very courteous and helpful, they have always been committed to the comforts of the patient's, both physically and mentally. They are usually quick and effective, and give you realistic estimates on how long it will be before your taken into the surgical suite. Once there they assist you to get onto the surgical table with the least amount of discomfort to the is possible, but still remaining efficient and professional with an eye on the patient's total well being, helping them to return to the highest personal level of homeostasis. The recovery room nurse's retain all of the attributes that I have stated before but there is an almost subliminal message to get ready to leave quickly, almost like a assembly line although they always let you stay until you are physically ready to go. They offer water in these cute little bottles, and have a limited choice of juices available, though they do need to mix up a different combination of juices offering some of the newer combination of juices out in the market, like mango, and other tropical fruit juice combinations, besides the three usual juices, of orange, apple, and cranberry, mix it up guys, especially as this is the first thing that will have passed their lips that day. Give the patient's taste buds the same level of care as you do the rest of their body. I was surprised at how comfortable I felt receiving care there vs. the actual hospital once my initial nerves were relieved. Good job and keep striving for the highest level of care possible. I will be again seeing you soon for my neck. Happy Holidays!! and the real reason for the season.
