Since 1979, Picard Peanuts Ltd. has been a staple in the Canadian peanut industry and initiated the first commercial shelling plant in Canada.

Today, Picard Peanuts Ltd. owned and operated by Jim Picard and his family who process over a ton of their quality Jumbo Cocktail Peanuts, Extra Fancy Virginia Redskins, Spanish and Ontario-grown Valencia Peanuts.

I came here in 1976 on a class outing from Guelph University to learn about growing Peanuts in Ontario. Have been visiting Picards Peanuts ever since! Great selection of snack foods and the Ontario grown peanuts are still our favorite tasting snacking peanuts, more flavourful than the usual southern US peanuts. Friendly staff always! Thanks!
I live way out of area, but my parents live close to a store. I have to visit every time! Even my kids love to visit and pick out a new flavour of peanuts, sometimes even a candy. The variety of products is great, the quality is awesome, and the prices reasonable. Make this a stop on your next trip!
This was my 1st visit to Picards.. Very clean store Very kind staff.. Busy spot Lots of parking.. Lots of beautiful baskets in store
Never a dissapoitment grabbing snacks to munch on from from here. Everytime I'm in the area I make a pit stock and load up. Your wallet may not be so happy but I assure you it is totally worth it!
They were starting to assemble the facility when I went. Nice variety of flavored peanuts and some delicious sweets. Employees were very pleasant and willing to help. Will be nice, to see what other goodies will be on the shelves soon.
Got lots of goodies. Always enjoy the products variety chocolate covered nuts and my standby ginger candy to help when tummy gets upset. We just love Picards glad we don't have to travel to far.
Picard's is a must stop in the region.... Best munchies around.... Super gift boxes.
Always good to visit this location to stock up on chip nuts. Tons of flavors to choose from. They also have a great selection of chocolates and other snacks. Well priced!
The inside of the store is great and has a very nice look to it. Very good treats and some different things that I did not expect to find there. The gift baskets were a little expensive in my opinion but they also had gift boxes that were appropriately priced. Great customer service and employees seemed to be happy to be working there which makes a difference. Will stop by again in the summer to try other treats.
I’ve been coming to this store since I was a kid. One of the best shops to get gifts for people of all ages and any occasion. So many different flavours of chip nuts and peanuts to pick from. This place is always my go-to for birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, thank-you gifts and snacks for myself when I just HAVE to have some crunchy goodness. Always fresh and lots of stock available. Their sweets are on another level... don’t forget to check their vintage candy section at the back too.
