Amazing winery! Family-oriented and kid friendly. There’s a nice little hike alongside the picnic area. We hiked a little bit and I didn’t see any peacocks, but I heard rattles. Did the tasting of their reds and wasn’t too big on their Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tuscan, and Merlot but the Brothers Blend was my favorite among 5 tastings. It was definitely flavorful with a deep oak flavor, blackberries and a peppery finish. Overall, nice winery. I don’t mind coming back to go hiking.
Nice small hike with ponds, streams , a couple of bridges and nice views of the bay and a reservoir from above. Added bonus was plentiful water due to the recent rains and lush greenery all around. This trail starts at a quaint winery which seemed very nice and damn reasonable , so in case you prefer some wine, forget the trail for some another day

Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve is a wonderful Open Space Preserve to go for a hike in Cupertino. The trail starts at the Picchetti Winery, which is a fantastic place for wine tasting and to buy good quality wines. We usually take the Zinfandel Trail and loop back through the Orchard Loop Trail. Our toddler loves going on these trails. The pond has dried up, but if it rains well this year, we might see some water in it soon. The parking lots are big, but it will get crowded over weekends, so plan accordingly. Must visit Open Space Preserve.
It is an amazing trail with so much shade - which means you could hike in the middle of the day without feeling drained. There’s a cute winery at the end of the trail where people bring their families to picnic. The hike itself is not that difficult to complete - mostly flat with some inclines here and there.
Nice place for a hiking! And the trail is not too strenuous and I assume it is easy for kids too. I saw lots of parents bring their kids here. There are quite a lot of shades on the trails, so it is pretty good for sun-haters. The recent rain season even makes a small pond here, which is not labeled on Google map. I hope it can stick around for longer. For first-timer, there are two parking lots: in the winery or additional parking out of the winery. The winery only open after 11am, so if you came in 10:30am, that could be the hardest time to find a parking spot.
Hiking trails with a nice view. Very easy—more of a nature walk than a hike really, but an excellent place to take a stroll if you’re looking to get outside without breaking much of a sweat. The winery also has grounds perfect for a picnic. All in all a great place to spend a Sunny afternoon.
A great hiking destination. The trails are relatively flat with some sloping up and down. The Zinfandel Trail is mostly flat and the best trail to hike in my opinion since it is also the longest. Towards the beginning of the trail if you start at the winery there are a few short trails that branch off and the Vista Trail brings you to the too of a small hill with some amazing views of the surrounding scenery.
