Piccirillo & Knapp Accounting Services (PKAS) is a public accounting and consulting firm. We provide audit and advisory services to a variety of clients, from small businesses to mid size multinationals.
PKAS was founded by Big 4 CPA professionals, with the mission of providing high quality, low cost professional services, customized to each client's specific needs and goals.
Our core focus is in two areas:
1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Business Plans including financials and marketing strategies, Internal Controls, Business Sales & Acquisitions.
2. FINANCIAL REPORTING - Audits, Reviews and Compilations (preparing financial statements for clients)
WHO ARE OUR CLIENTS?
We have clients in the following industries, using our services for the following needs:
- CONSTRUCTION: Bonding often requires financial statement Audits, Reviews and/or compilations. PKAS is experienced in the methods of accounting for construction companies including Percentage of Completion and Completed Contract.
- NON PROFITS: Audits required for 990 filings, as well as review and compilations as required by By Laws and Lenders. Our clients include religious affiliated organizations, social clubs, and international heritage organizations.
- REAL ESTATE (Investment Firms & Property Management): PKAS has extensive experience in real estate advisory services including real estate funds, real estate acquisitions, financial forecasting and modeling, rent stabilization regulations including MCI, etc.
- PHARMACEUTICALS (Dietary Supplement Manufacturers): Designing and implementing quality controls in conformance with FDA regulations, designing and implementing Human Resource processes and documentation, designing and implementing internal controls, financial reporting services (Audits, Reviews and Compilations).
- GROWING SMALL BUSINESSES - The true value of PKAS and the services its provides has become most prevalent in our work with growing small businesses. We are able to prepare business plans, business models, budgets, financial forecasting, marketing plans, and other related services to set the foundation for small businesses to grow at a healthy rate while mitigating its risks. For some of our larger sized clients, we have also designed internal controls for them in anticipation of their growth so that the Owners could focus more on areas in the business that require their involvement, without presenting a risk in the areas in which they must reduce their role or capacity. As any owner of any growing small business is well aware, as the business grows, so does the responsibility on the owner's shoulders. PKAS designs strategies and controls so that owners can remain in control of their business, focus on key areas that require their attention, and still maintain quality of life.
MANAGING PARTNER:
Carlo Piccirillo, CPA-
Carlo Piccirillo is a Certified Public Accountant, with extensive experience in public accounting and advisory services. Mr. Piccirillo began his career in the Audit practice of KPMG, one of the premier Big 4 global public accounting firms. While there, his engagements included such notable clients as Pfizer, J. Crew, Omnicom Group, Philips, and Tishman Speyer Properties.
After leaving corporate accounting, Mr. Piccirillo founded PKAS. He specializes in providing CFO advisory services to small and mid-sized business owners who do not have the time or expertise to help strengthen and grow their company.
He also specializes in financial reporting services (Audits, Reviews and Compilations).
