Pinckneyville Park is located in the City of Norcross in Gwinnett County. The park is a mile walk from the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center. Aside from the walking trails, there’s baseball/softball & roller hockey complex at 4758 entrance. On the opposite entrance at 4707 is a soccer field. The paved trails has plenty of sitting along the way; there’s also picnic tables with grills available. I’ve been here plenty of times few years ago. Most of the park goers are students and kids practicing their choice of sport. Really neat place. Playground: There’s playgrounds available for older children. Probably for ages 5 and up by the looks of the jungle gym. Restrooms: Public Restrooms are available. Very neat. Dog-friendliness: Dogs has to be on leash. There’s no dog park area available. Picnic area: Picnic tables are available throughout the park. Picnic Pavilions can be reserved ahead of time by contacting the office. There’s Picnic tables on the trail along with a grill.
Pinckneyville Park is a very large park in Peachtree Corners/Duluth area. Most of my pictures came from the Main Entrance off of 4758 South Old Peachtree Road. The main entrance has many rental pavilions, a small and large dog park, a roller hockey ring, and a skate board park. Multiple sets of playgrounds are located in the park. The renal Pavilion's are spacious. Seven-field baseball/softball complex. There are two smaller playgrounds in between the baseball and softball fields. When I drove in I started in the back of the Main Park where the roller hockey rink is. Very nice roller hockey rink. First one I have seen in Gwinnett. There is also a small skate park. The larger playground is in it's own area in the back of the park. It has many slides, ropes to climbs on. A very nice variety on larger and smaller slides. There is a smaller kids playground in the back on the main entrance where the volley court and the pavilions are located. This playground is also very well shaded. There are swings and monkey bars. Also a very nice ramp attached to the smaller kids playground. Two separate dog parks are located beside the base ball/softball fields. The smaller dog park is smaller than the very large wide open space in the larger dog park area for larger dogs. The larger dog park is very open, also has some woods enclosed. Very nice and spacious dog park. Beside the dog park is the softball/baseball fields. There is another playground at the ball fields, one for smaller kids and for larger children.
I’m a disabled veteran and was parked at the park overnight due to homeless post my resignation from the Dallas VA medical center tx; after my privacy and hippa rights were violated and no one did anything because the person who did it was connect through their Greek organization. oh well the world is turning into “Gotham City” I said all this to say this. The park was extremely safe; as an officer pulled up and told me I couldn’t be there that late I didn’t know that but he was a really cool guy also ex military we talked for a while until we both left. This is a very great park much to do here I love it as I love nature. My apologies for the frivolous & long story to get to this point. Overall; one will not regret visiting this park.
Well-kept, beautiful outdoor space! The dog park here is very spacious and mostly clean, with training equipment, a small trail, and several benches. Outside that, there's a paved walking trail my husband and our 2 dogs enjoy too!
Beautiful pavilion with barbecue pits. Plenty of space to sit, enjoy the beauty of the day, feel the breeze. Has trails. Dogs on leash only are permitted. Very nice playground with wood chips, safer for the kids. Bathrooms spacious and cleaned daily. Water fountain available for everyone. A soccer complex but it has always been more than that to me. #thankyouGwinnett
We went for a baseball tournament. Great amounts of shade, nice playgrounds and we'll maintained fields. Our daughter brought her roller skates and enjoyed the roller hockey rink!
This park has an excellent dog park divided into two sections for tiny and normal sized canids, several pavilions for rent, and a pleasant walking trail paved. The park also has numerous soccer and baseball fields. I can't comment on the soccer facilities. Never used them. The baseball fields are below the quality you'll find in nearby Fulton County parks, and have severe drainage issues. Frankly, Gwinnett residents should find the baseball fields embarrassing. Where is the SPLOST money going? Not to little league baseball here. Boo, hiss. Minus one for that.
Really chill atmosphere, people are friendly and welcoming; no sense of entitlement. It's nice to watch skateboarders practice and attempt tricks. I recommend this park over it's Dunwoody counterparts.
Here for a family reunion. Honestly hadn’t been here since I played youth football 20+ years ago. Very clean. Nice environment. Totally dry. For that I almost gave it no stars.
Really love the trails in this park. Shady and pretty. A great park for exercising, multiple playgrounds for kids, and a sand volleyball court.
