I came here after being gaslighted by several physicians in my area because I knew the Dr and the PA from previous experience. The first GI was doing nothing and wouldn't return my call so I came here. My very first appointment I drove and hour and a half to find they had cancelled my appointment. When you are extremely ill and dealing with horrible health issues that's not what you want to hear. I should have known right then to leave. However, I was desperate for help and tired of being sick. They did a lot of testing which o was grateful for and said I had duodenal stenosis after the Endo and that a stent could be put in to help. Then I never heard anything. Went for a follow up with PA and was informed they don't do those. Ok great we'll send me to someone who does!! They didn't so I said forget this and went to baptist instead to see Dr Koch. Come to find out o have pyloric stenosis and a stent won't help. Thank God I went to them. Now I have an actual plan of action and not being strung along to useless appointments. They even suggested taking away the only mediation that has helped me due to side effects I'm not experiencing! I did find that section of my intestines is 4mm which is why I can barely eat or drink and throw up all the time. My regular doctor had to write my meds because they wanted six weeks on and six weeks off. Last time I was off the reglan I couldn't use the bathroom for over two weeks. Talk about misery. They have no clue what to do with people that are this in depth. If you're extremely sick just go to baptist and get on a path to recovery. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.
