Out of town visitor to RMNP... Dr. Pike saw me on an emergency basis to help with some new work, performed by my dentist at home, giving me trouble. His office got me in quickly on Dr. Pike's day off, which was a huge relief. Dr. Pike listened to my symptoms, did a quick evaluation, and told me exactly what was going on and how we would control the symptoms until I could get the permanent fix back home. Under the circumstances I could not have asked for a better outcome. I'm not from Estes Park, but If I was he's my guy.
I was in Estes Park on vacation from out of state. Developed an abscess on a Friday. Now what? Found Dr. Pike on Google. Figured there was no way this dentist was going to come in on the weekend for someone who wasn’t his patient. Wrong! Saturday morning he met me at his office. Took care of my tooth and sent me happily on my way to continue my vacation. Great service from a great dentist!!
I came in to see Dr. Pike after a week of a sore molar. I inquired about services on a Sunday AM and he called me shortly after and was in his chair later that afternoon. I was grateful to see him so quickly and on short notice since my work schedule wouldn't allow to see him until the following weekend. He was very welcoming and treated my sore tooth, which is putting me at ease knowing it wasn't anything worse. His office was also great and his equipment was all pretty new which made taking xrays a breeze. I would definitely come back to see Dr. Pike and would definitely recommend him for someone in a tooth pinch. Thank you again Dr. Pike!
2018 is the 20th Anniversary of beginning my long relationship with Dr. Pike as my dentist. I became a patient of Dr. Pike in 1998 and have never felt apprehensive about his care and dental expertise. While going to the dentist is never really "fun", I will say that I have had very few painful experiences at Dr. Pike's office, compared to dentists earlier in my life. In fact, I usually anticipate the normal examination, cleaning, and repair necessities to be as pain free as it gets. Dr. Pike and his staff are very professional and friendly. Dr. Pike has rewarded my loyalty and trust with service and several fee negotiations beyond my expectations. I currently travel many miles from Kansas to continue as a patient of Dr. Pike, and he and his staff have made special time and emergency concessions on several occasions due to the distance I have to travel. Case in point, on today's visit I was able to combine a planned repair procedure with my normal scheduled cleaning, to save me miles and many hours of driving. I feel completely confident in recommending Dr. Pike and his staff to others, and have done so several times as I became aware of friends and associates with dental care needs.
Let me start by saying that there’s almost nothing I fear worse than dentists and dental work. Unfortunately, while on vacation in Estes Park this week, I developed a dental abscess and needed some emergency care. That was the LAST thing I wanted or needed, but that’s life, right? Like a true adult, I cried a lot and called the dentist recommended to me by the hospital. That, of course, would be Dr. Pike! It was 8am on a Saturday when I called, but Dr. Pike returned my call very promptly and offered to meet me at his office at 9am. With my blood pressure through the roof and my heart rate skyrocketing, I walked into the appointment... and Dr. Pike and his dental hygienist immediately worked to put me at ease. Neither seemed to mind that I cried for the entire duration of my visit, either! Dr. Pike took x-rays and let me feel a little more in control of the situation by letting me help and determined that I did indeed have an abscess that needed draining. He was honest but kind, telling me that I would need a root canal or an extraction sooner rather than later... but that we needed to take care of the infection first. That meant numbing me up and drilling into the tooth to release pressure. T E R R I F Y I N G. Still, as Dr. Pike promised, the actual dental work once I was numb took very little time, and before I knew it, we were done. Dr. Pike listened to and answered all of my questions with endless patience before sending me on my way, and quite honestly... he was so kind that I cried again, this time for a much better reason! I’m still afraid of dentists as a whole, but hear me, people: I would trust Dr. Pike to drill into my face any day of the week. I mean, I’d probably still cry while he did it, but he truly went above and beyond to make THIS experience a positive one, and I believe with all my heart that he’s just as kind and caring to every patient that walks through his doors! If you’re an Estes Park local, go to Dr. Pike with your dental needs. You won’t regret it. Heck, it’s probably worth the drive from anywhere in Colorado if you’re a cry baby with dental anxiety like me! Five stars just isn’t enough.
I can't say enough about Dr. Pike! He and his staff are friendly and professional. Every time I went in I was greeted as I walked into a friends house. I became a patient out of emergency tooth pain, with no insurance. I called Dr. Pike during the shut down and explained my situation, he has taken care of me since. My mouth was a mess, missing, broken and infected teeth. Dr. Pike didn't just fix my current issue and send me on my way, he offered to work with me and today I have no infections, no rotting or broken teeth and I can burn the flipper that I wore for 10 years super glued together multiple times because today Dr. Pike put in a beautiful bridge! Dr. Pike changed my life! I love to hike...but always knew thered be mouth pain after a certain altitude, I was embarrassed to ever eat in public had to remove the flipper, flipper was horribly uncomfortable. The most important thing though is that in the scariest, craziest, year when it felt like everything went wrong.....Dr. Pike reminded me of the wonderful people who do exist. My husband had a dental emergency while we were vacationing in Estes Park and the staff at Aspen Dental went out of the way to fit us in to be seen. Dr. Pike was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us some peace of mind so that we could enjoy the rest of our stay in Estes. One of the most welcoming dentist offices I’ve ever experienced- Thank you Aspen Dental team!!!
I worked as a park ranger last summer and had to have two emergency root canals. Dr. Pike and his staff were able to get me taken care of quickly and rather painlessly even given the root canals. Dr. Pike and his staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Aspen Dental Center to any seasonal staff around Estes Park that need a friendly, informative, and professional dentist, especially in a pinch.
I have been seeing Dr Pike for many years and can say his unique Dentistry and Cosmetic Surgery excellence comes as a result of his genuine care for his patients. He provides thorough consultation, guides you through the procedures and is readily available for questions and concerns. Recent cosmetic work on my teeth was an emotional experience, my teeth have never looked so good- I can smile again! Thank you Dr Pike and to your wonderful caring staff.
Dr. Pike and staff have been amazing. It had been years since my last dental checkup and I knew I had issues needing taken care of. Dr. Pike has been wonderful about creating a care plan and getting me in quickly. Best dentist in town.
